I guess the coffee was fine, but the staff barely spoke to us, and the place was not clean. The bathrooms were disgusting. Way better places to go, I won't ever go back

I love their coffee! Menu is super creative. My favorite is the Stairway To Heaven drink. I used to visit Lawrence, KS as my daughter attended KU and I came upon this establishment by pure luck. I order their coffee beans in bulk now.

I have no idea why this location has a hard time keeping baristas but something is really wrong.

I ordered an iced vanilla latte with extra ice and they did not put extra ice in it because when they dont it is too sweet because of the amount of milk in it. When i asked them to remake it they just put more ice in the drink i gave back to them so it tasted the same and i got less espresso. These baristas cannot do their jobs correctly and can't take the proper time to fix their mistakes. I threw the coffee away because when I asked them to make it right they did not take the time to do so. Terrible service

They make a decent latte. They also give the doggo treats sometimes, which is a bonus.

Amazingly Chill Coffee ShopThe barista, Syd, was knowledgeable and courteous while guiding me through my coffee order. The atmosphere felt more naturally mellow than the run of the mill Starbucks.Best of all the coffee flavors are interesting and new!I will definitely be returning after Syd's exceptional customer service and coffee recommendations, seasonal and off-the-menu.Thanks, KennethPhotos:Seasonal menubreakfast menu

If you want a side of coffee with your sugar you found the right place. Unprofessional staff and inconsiderate service. The coffee had a chalk consistency to it. There are no options for any sort of regular drinks such as a Frappuccino or a regular lattee. They say gourmet coffee but it is the cheapest tasting coffee I've ever had and th cups and straws served match the quality.

Got a mug of coffee and then found out the internet wasn't working. Asked for a to go coffee instead and they told me they would have to charge me again! This is not a mom and pop shop anymore. This request was easy, so disappointing!

I had a really terrible experience this morning. After placing an order the day before for a dozen bagels. As the form requested, I indicated a specific pickup time (planned my work day around being able to step out and make the pickup), I paid in full, and provided ample contact information. I arrive at Z's at the time I indicated, only to discover that they had given it away to some completely random person who came through their drive through earlier. The name given was not mine, not even close. I never said anyone else would be picking up the order on my behalf. The team was barely apologetic about their awful mistake and were not even able to provide me with a refund at the time. Not even going to offer a free coffee for this wild inconvenience? The person working there simply called me "hun" in a patronizing tone and became the shrugging emoji. This stranger/thief provided a name that wasn't on the order and they still didn't ask for any proof that they were indeed the right person picking up a paid order. No last 4 digits? No phone number confirmation? Nothing, just literally handed it over to a stranger and then "whoopsie!" Forget that I had paid already, interrupted my work day, my family is out of some planned meals, and have to wait for a refund.I reached out to the contact at Olive's myself and was very shocked that they too proceeded to give their same inexcusable excuse, as if that was a reasonable mistake but also attempted to put the blame on me somehow. This incident should have been embarrassing and inexcusable to them, but instead of apologizing, and acknowledging THEIR mistake, they tried to put the blame on me! 1. The stranger's first name starts with an L and so does my last name...Excuse me, what? 2. They said that in the confirmation email the order would be ready at x:xx am. Ok? But your website asks you to indicate your desired pickup time, which I did. I arrived at the store at that time. Confirming the order would be ready for me by a certain time should not = now I have to pick up the order at that ready time or else they will be given away to the first stranger who claims to have an order and mumbles a name. If that is the case, you need to say so.Now I am also concerned how this mystery thief even knew my order existed, as I didn't communicate that to anyone else on my end. That means there may have been a leak on their side of things, either their email or their website, which is a whole other creepy situation.Do not bother with Z's. They don't care about customers.

Saturday morning around 7:30 am, we parked and attempted to walk into Z's Divine Espresso on W 31st. The sign in the window indicated "open" as did the hours on the door to the coffee shop-- which listed an open time of 7am for Saturday. Everything inside was lit-up also making it appear as they were open. These things were an indicator that we thought the coffee shop was open for business. We could see an employee inside the f who looked out our direction and then hid from being within our view.If in fact the coffee shop "open" sign was supposed to refer to drive-thru only, and if the hours on the door listed are outdated, that's one thing, but what's really frustrating is having someone look at you and ignore you.Someone could have easily come to the door and let us know they weren't yet open for inside coffee shop business. We were not able to experience the food or the atmosphere, however, the lack of service from the available employee allows us to rate Z's with a solid one star. Please do better for your potential customers. We gave up and took our money to Starbucks in the nearby Target. This review is based on the 31st street location only. Thank you.

The food is really good! The coffee wasn't the taste I was expecting (I got a chocolate thing that tasted like chocolate milk) but it was still tasty. I recommend if you like coffee shop vibes! Also, the staff is so kind, and knew my relative's name by heart.

I love Z’s! I’ve tried many different drinks from them and I am impressed each time. The prices are fair (cheaper than Starbucks!), the line moves efficiently, and their punch card promo is a really good deal. I honestly prefer coming here compared to some of the other big chain coffee companies in town. Have always had such a positive experience coming here!

First time there. Picked up bulk espresso beans and a freebird. Very helpful staff and the drink was good.
