The food was phenomenal and the owner was very friendly! Highly recommend the jerk fries as an appetizer and the Kingston fried chicken as the main. My husband and I loved it, will definitely be back.

This is a hidden treasure in Leavenworth! I love the ownership, they're so nice. Great portions for the price, and the quality of the food is incredible. Incredible flavors that make me feel like I'm in the Caribbean. Something about this place makes me feel like I'm in on a secret, but it's not Fight Club - I have to talk about it!!!

Great place to grab lunch or a dinner out with friends. Delicious food, awesome staff and the place is huge inside compared to the small street entrance. Live music at designated times. Recommend the jerk chicken, beef patty and the coco bread.

The Jerk fries, Curry Chicken, and Jerk chicken were all amazing!! Large portions and outstanding service were a bonus for my dining experience! I would recommend you get there early so you can enjoy your meal and conversations with the owner! If I could give it a 1000 I would! Great place!!

Island Spice is an absolute oasis in the otherwise desolate Leavenworth, KS desert (when it comes to Jamaican/Caribbean food).

The decor, ambiance and service are level up experiences!

The attention to detail in the presentation of the cuisine is an art-form in itself. I’ve dined here on several occasions and have never found the service or authenticity lacking.

Arrive early in the day to ensure you get your favorite ox-tail dish! Those go fast and if you wait until it’s near closing time, you’ll have to settle for whatever is left over :0)

You’ll wait a little, but boy oh boy….it’s well worth the wait!!

The oxtail and Curry Goat were amazing. Great owner very friendly and super nice staff. Definitely worth going to and we are now going to be regulars.

the jerk pork is amazing. I've smelled it so many times working downtown. finally got in to try it and was not disappointed at all!!
