“I had not been there until today and boy have I been missing out. I had the open faced turkey sandwich. First of all, after one bite you could tell that everything was made from scratch. Secondly, the portion was HUGE. I brought half of it back home. Thirdly the staff was very friendly and the food came out quickly. You could tell they have a lot of in person regulars, as well as to go orders from their regulars. I arrived at 11am and by 1115am the place had almost filled up. I will definitely be back, and thanks for a great lunch.”

“Since Burr's opening, I have come to know and truly appreciate Burr Roasters for who they are as a company as well as for their amazing coffee! They are always friendly, cheerful and the only place I know of locally that roasts and sells its own coffee! The coffee stands on its own as truly the smoothest and greatest tasting coffee I've ever had! It is never burnt tasting which is a far cry from some of the bigger chains and is so appealing. They are a wonderful small family business that I am willing to always be a customer for!”

“I went to Scooter’s for the first time and needed some extra help ordering and the lady who helped me was super friendly, helpful, and patient. Went with a blended butterfinger drink. Ordered a medium and she upgraded me to a large since it was my first time. Totally unexpected yet very pleasantly surprised. They also gave me a sucker too! “Came on Sunday early afternoon. Alex D. was our server. Ordered Irish Kegs as an appetizer, Bangers and mash, Fish and chips, sweet tea, Guinness, and for dessert bread pudding. In another review someone described the Irish Kegs as large tots with seasoning and goodness… that is a perfect way to describe them. Bangers and mash is sausage, mash potatoes, cabbage, a slice of toast, and a side of some kind of delicious sauce. The fish was fantastically breaded and plated on top of the fries which prevented it from getting soggy and keeping the crisp. Bread pudding was mouth watering. The food absolutely blew me away. Our server, Alex, was amazing. She made the experience absolutely fantastic.”

“Bill‘s kitchen has the best gizzards I’ve ever had. When the food arrived it was hot and the gizzards were so tender and easy to eat. The flavor was wonderful. My granddaughter had the kids meal chicken tenders and they were hot and good with french fries. My sister had fried okra and she said it was really good. I recommend, Bill‘s kitchen to everyone. I give it five stars.”

“We were just in town for the night and this was on the other side of town from our hotel, but the drive was worth it. We had BBQ and beer that tasted particularly good after a long day's drive. Our server was attentive and efficient.”

“Lots of good people and I still go there despite the problems with late night dependability early closing random nights. Only problem is undependable late night hours - depending on the agenda of the bartender, sometimes closes super early. If you’re a late night person, it’s hit and miss.”

“We loved the stuffed layered crust, as in not the edge of the crust being stuffed. The toppings were placed on the first layer, another crust put on top, and then sauce. It was amazing! I highly recommend trying it, but if it's not your thing, they have regular pizzas as well. I'm certain they are just as delicious!”
