“Everything about Authentic Taste of Jamaica was amazing this evening!!! We stumbled across this delicious date night after reading Yelp reviews and it did not disappoint. The service, food, and the opportunity to visit with the owner was awesome. Started off with a Red Stripe, beef patty, and Kingston wings and ended with jerk and curry chicken. The food was so good!! Thank you for a wonderful experience we will be back soon.”

We ordered to go:
1.) Carnitas Street Tacos (6) $22.98 from the tortillas to the carnitas, everything was fresh, well seasoned and delicious.
2.) Jamaica (2) $8.58 full flavored best Jamaica I have had in a while.
3.) Refried Beans side $1.99
4.) Jarritos Fruit Punch $3.29 if you like super sweet then this flavor is for you.

“Okay I'll be honest that I'd never been here before only during times where kids do the trick 'or treating downtown and this was a great visit. My buddy and I met for coffee to talk over business and we got the chance to meet and visit with the owner, Ray Ford. It was wonderful and these folks do their own in-house roasting and have plenty of room in the front for comfortable seating and then they have a nice meeting room just beyond the area where they prepare your drinks. It's going to be on my regular round for coffee for sure!”

“I went to Scooter’s for the first time and needed some extra help ordering and the lady who helped me was super friendly, helpful, and patient. Went with a blended butterfinger drink. Ordered a medium and she upgraded me to a large since it was my first time. Totally unexpected yet very pleasantly surprised. They also gave me a sucker too! “Bill‘s kitchen has the best gizzards I’ve ever had. When the food arrived it was hot and the gizzards were so tender and easy to eat. The flavor was wonderful. My granddaughter had the kids meal chicken tenders and they were hot and good with french fries. My sister had fried okra and she said it was really good. I recommend, Bill‘s kitchen to everyone. I give it five stars.”

“I would say any of the entrees especially the fried cod and the chicken fried chicken and the chicken fried steak. the steak on the hot bacon spinach salad is fantastic and of course always friendly”

“What a nice surprise! I work in Leavenworth and I wanted something different for lunch. Thought about Goodcents and I’m SO glad I did! I got a sandwich as a salad, and the baked Mac & Cheese. Great flavor, the pasta was hot, and the salad was wonderful. Neither one was a huge portion and both exactly what I wanted. I added things to the salad and it was made exactly as I wanted. And their Ranch Dressing is awesome! I ordered quickly and easily on the website and my food was ready at the time I specified. Good job Goodcents! I’ll come back for sure!!”

“June and Aree are our "go-to" caterers for all of our events over the past two years. The food is excellent and reasonably priced, and they are just such nice people. They have always made our receptions wonderful. I highly recommend them. They have multiple food options, but we prefer their Thai food catering.”

“Above and Beyond Service at Dairy Queen on Broadway 🍔🍟🥤

I recently had a great experience at the Dairy Queen in Leavenworth, KS. I stopped in about a week ago for a cheeseburger using a coupon I received in the mail, buy one Signature Stacked Burger and get one for 99¢, and the entire visit went smoothly.

It was snowy that morning, and I arrived about 20 minutes before opening. The employee let me know they would be opening shortly, which was completely understandable. What really stood out was that about 5 to 7 minutes early, he noticed me waiting outside and opened up ahead of schedule to assist me. That simple gesture meant a lot.

He was friendly, patient, and made sure he clearly understood the coupon and my order before proceeding. After placing the order, I walked over to Goodwill and Family Dollar. When I returned, my food was ready just as promised.

I walked it home, sat down, and enjoyed two excellent cheeseburgers, fries, and a Dr Pepper, prepared exactly the way they should be. The food was solid, but the customer service truly went above and beyond.

I was pleasantly surprised with the options for gluten free items and was so grateful for the accommodations. The atmosphere is geared toward those who love to go and watch a sports game with plenty of tasty food and drink options (lots of very cool memorabilia too) but would absolutely be enjoyable for anyone! In a safe area with parking close by, great service and kindness from staff from start to finish. Definitely will be making this a regular visit!”

“Lots of good people and I still go there despite the problems with late night dependability early closing random nights. Only problem is undependable late night hours - depending on the agenda of the bartender, sometimes closes super early. If you’re a late night person, it’s hit and miss.”

“I was there when they first opened and wasn’t impressed! BUT today I thought I would give it a second chance! I went through the drive through and I spoke to a very nice lady and asked her about the salads they had, she explained them all to me and I asked her which one was the best? She gave me two suggestions which didn’t disappoint!! I got the Zensation salad! Omg!! It was excellent!! And the coke was crispy and perfect!! Great job !!!!
