“My wife and I got married at the Royal Deluxe about a month ago. Will and Hannah were fantastic hosts. They took care of everything from setting up the space for our intimate wedding, to delicious appetizers and dinner, the cake and cupcakes and the reception. Everything was amazing and they were wonderful to work with. The bartenders were great and we really felt like everyone went out of their way to make our special occasion very special. Even if you aren't getting married, it's still a great little bar. I highly recommend visiting the Royal Deluxe on your next visit to Weston, Missouri!”

“My Husband and I had Hannah and company help with our wedding that took place at the Lux. Hannah made our food and cake/ cupcakes for our big day. Everything went perfectly and she planned our wedding perfectly. On top of that, everyone was kind and professional. Every time we are down in Weston, we stop in for a wine flight and to see what goodies are paired with each wine. We did participate in a murder mystery event the last time we were down and it was so much fun!”

“We were traveling through MO 9-27-25 around noon and decided to stop for a sandwich. The mid aged lady that helped us was very friendly, she went above and beyond to make our sandwich. Every item was placed on the sandwich with care. She even heated up the chicken before adding it to the bread and toasting. We always order the same sandwich and by far this sandwich tasted so fresh and good. Thank you for a great sandwich!”

“Authentic decor...right down to the kerosene lanterns on the tables. Why? Because there are no lights in that dining room. It reminded me of a pub I visited in the UK.

For starters, we tried their Egg Rolls; which are stuffed with corned beef and coleslaw. Scotch Eggs...my first time ever trying them. Very good. Fried pickles...I mean; why not? Also, very good.

Our entrees were chicken-fried-chicken with garlic mashed potatoes. Very tender and juicy. I got traditional fish n chips. Cod fillets tender and crunchy. Put some malt vinegar on it all and it will take you to the top.

Dessert consisted of a slice of their carrot cake. A must have after a good meal like that.”

My buddy and I met for coffee to talk over business and we got the chance to meet and visit with the owner, Ray Ford. It was wonderful and these folks do their own in-house roasting and have plenty of room in the front for comfortable seating and then they have a nice meeting room just beyond the area where they prepare your drinks. It's going to be on my regular round for coffee for sure!”

“Fetterman's is a Platte City favorite of our family. The owners are good people with strong ties to the community. Products used are fresh and high quality. Anyone that has had a bad experience needs to understand it is not the norm. Sometimes mistakes are made. BTW their breakfast options are very good and well priced. I hate to let out the secret, but the biscuits and gravy are top notch. Get them while they last. They go fast.”
