At the LJS in Leavenworth Kansas. We have went in to get dinner around 7pm to 7:30pm on multiple occasions and find them closed. The website says they are open until 9pm. We have even went in a couple times a bit earlier, (6:30pm) and again they were closed. So if the hours have changed please by all means change the times on the website as to not mislead customers. I myself work in customer service, this is not a good practice. If your suppose to be open until 9pm. Then be open until 9pm. Or change the times on the website and the doors.

My husband came in on Friday to get me the salmon dinner. A lady ahead of him had ordered the salmon dinner as well. They ended up out of the salmon. I got the two fish meal instead with rice instead of fries. The fish was small, dry and gross. The rice was not good at all. Talk about disappointing! Not going back, EVER!!!

We just were in the drive thru. No one would answer so we pulled up to the window and no one was in there. We tried calling and got no answer. What a joke!

I asked the drive-thru lady Sonia) if she had change for $100. She said she did. I received my food, but I am still waiting for my change. 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes. I told her numerous times that I would just pay with my credit card, but at this point she refuses to give me my money back and take the card. Now my food is not hot. I have no idea why she was so hell-bent on getting the change for the $100. Fish was very greasy. On the positive side, they gave me replacement food that was fresh, but I did not want to spend 20 minutes in LJS drive-thru. Terrible experience. 6/9/25 11:57 am. Order #9019038

Understaffed during dinner rush. Waited several minutes at front counter to order a dine-in order. They acknowledged me when I came in, but made no other attempt to get my order. No one was working the front counter at all. One employee was working drive-thru, one possibly two on the makeline. I left without ordering after standing at the front counter for several minutes and nobody came to take my order. Very disappointing since I usually enjoy dining there. Get more employees, or at least get more that will take care of customers.

When I pulled in the drive thru the place was desolate waited about 10 minutes then finally some service ordered 2 fish and chicken boxes with slaw and fries and extra tartar sauce got no chicken and no tartar sauce when I call they hang up on me not to mention I know a fent nod when I see one stay off of drugs and do your job

Was the most unsatisfied experience going there today. 3/172025. First of all the didn't get all of our sides like the Cole slaw and waffle fries were disgustingly hard and chewy. I would of liked to of had the regular fries. The chicken was really small pieces and fish was smaller than normal. Spent dang there 50 bucks and didn't get the moneys worth probably won't ever go back. Might as well close the doors permanently can't even go inside and have a meal doors always locked and the drive through pot holes could swallow a small car.horrible. use to be really good place but not anymore!

This is the worst ran facility, if it’s open then they have addicts working there who take 30+ min for a single meal and still don’t get it right. We walked in today around 11-12pm and got the whole way inside before asked to leave due to no employees showing up but when we got in our car she was locking the building while her KID was standing in the lobby window and she was in uniform handing random food items. I don’t understand how they’re constantly struggling every time I pay them a visit. I always think maybe they’re having an off day just to be more and more disappointed every time I try to give them another chance.

We placed an online order at 8pm. Said our order would be ready by 8:10. Got there around 8:09 and didn’t get ate food till 8:30. The employees kept going outside and talking to people in a car then just stood there! This has been the absolute worst service I have ever experienced!! I was a manager at sonic and if my employees acted like this it would have been a right up right then and there!

Haven’t had Long John’s Silver fish meal for some time but we ordered tonight online being hungry for some fish… it was the worst meal ever .. we even got the cod which was more.. pieces were very small and tough and dry.. will never go back. It use to be so good. Tried to call back but no answer.. they weren’t that busy when we picked up our order.

The coleslaw was soggy mush (which I couldn’t eat), I only got about 5 fries, and the tartar sauce had the consistency of watery mayonnaise. I paid $14, which made everything exceedingly overpriced. The gent at the drive thru window was extremely courteous and helpful at least. I don’t plan on returning.
