It's a nice small town bar with extremely cheap drinks compared to any bar I've been to the atmosphere is Hit or Miss depending all the time you go but the patrons as well as the bartenders are always friendly and welcoming. It's one of the few smoking bars still around I personally don't smoke but it doesn't bother me there's no food here except for some snacks but they will let you order delivery

This is a decent bar, not entirely country-oriented. I used to sing KARAOKE here some years ago and the place is friendly and lively for sure.I had a lot of great times here and i would go back again.The pitchers of Pabst are very affordable, as well!

I rarely find an atmosphere where folks are just not friendly to new folks who are not "regulars". We went to Toms not because of the drink specials, $2.50 individual beers or $11.00 for a bucket of 5, but for the karaoke that night. The first singer was upset it was not the right version of a popular country song. Interestingly the version played was the only version we have ever heard, but she stopped mid verse and got upset. That should have been a sign. There was a bit of drama that night involving a couple of younger well mannered gentlemen who were accused of making a comment about a lady, which in fairness was never made, yet another sign. This location is spacious, has a pool table, 3 dart boards, full bar, good drink specials, and is popular with the regulars. Based solely on my experience at this location, I would not recommend trying Toms for the first time on a Friday night as again, based only on my experience, the regulars and staff are very tight knit and are not welcoming to first timers. Other nights may be more welcoming and that is the sole reason for three stars vice lower.
