Aixois Bistro Park Place has a dark ambience inside, making it a good place for quiet subdued conversation. Outside, the European style sidewalk tables give a relaxed feel. Service is outstanding and responsive to all requests. The menu offers dishes that have received praise. Calamari is some of the best, incredibly light and not too overdone. Bread and butter are served, which is uncommon. Escargot was wonderful and did not have too much pesto for some, but overdone for others. Quiche was great. Duck was nice, could have been a bit crispier. Fettuccine was rich and creamy, excellent. The restaurant also offers wine such as Aixois 75, hanger steak, salads, and blueberry tiramisu, all well received. The menu changes according to season and is well thought out. Staff is attentive but not hovering, letting diners enjoy themselves. The location feels like France or the US, an immersive French dining experience.
