The chai latte is SO good, more on the spicy side than sweet. I also got a toast, which was good. Decent music that does a good job of drowning out other people's conversations, but I think a meeting might be difficult depending on where you're sitting.

Black dog is a not-so-hidden gem. I wish I lived here in Kansas City so I could spend more time here. Its a beautiful place, with kind people and a great atmosphere. The pastry I got was delicious, a raspberry and lime dessert pastry. I also ordered a regular iced latte, which was also delicious. The espresso was delicious! Very warm feeling, not too sharp or bitter. Over all very nice place and I would absolutely reccomend giving it a try.
