It was not busy, and the callous waiter makes a mess of 2 of 5 orders!
The manager shows up and states- he is going to remake the plate and trash the current one!
They recooked the same tofu twice which made soiled floppy tofu with no crisp and Broccoli over cooked and floppy as well.
I did not complain any further and ate the refried tofu dish!
Manager was not truthful!
To add fuel to the fire- he brings back the trashed tofu in closed carry out container.
He is smart man who thinks the consumers are stupid!
What a shame of a place which is inherently has tasty food!
Ruined the whole evening!

I’ve been eating at this Bo Ling’s location since I was a child. It’s always been good (food and service). I recommend ordering Ling’s Eggplant for an appetizer. My favorite dish is the Chicken Lo Mein! Big shout out to Jeani. She was the server for my table. Super sweet young lady.

Boling’s used to be good! WTH happened?! Boling's gets ZERO stars for Zero quality and taste. The food was disgusting and inedible. None of the entrees we ordered had flavor other than sugar. The Garlic Ginger Shrimp is bathed in a sauce that resembles ketchup or tomato paste and it didn't taste much different. The Dan Dan Noodles are spaghetti covered in a teriyaki sauce- no spice, and the Mongolian beef was a plate of sweet meat. Again, zero flavor other than sugar in Every Single dish. ICK! The egg drop soup was bland too! Two cocktails, 3 entrees, a large soup and shrimp rolls cost $92, plus a 20%tip (which is standard for us, when the service is good) The only thing positive I can offer is the server was very sweet, and the restaurant was clean.

Such a disappointment!

bolings has won my heart. I no longer have any urge whatsoever to ever try any other chinese spots in the KC area due to this establishment. Let’s start from the beginning. When you walk in you feel an incredible sensation touch your nose of amazing spices and foods that makes you start to relish. From there you are greeted with amazing service, the type of service that feels like you were invited into their house and made feeling welcome. After you sit down and boy you have the whole menu to choose from. I couldn’t even recommend anything because I would just have to say the entire menu. I have tried nearly every dish and every single one blows my socks off. If theirs one place i’ll die by recommending to anyone it’s bolings.

This place is the best, there is no comparison!! You could literally open the menu, blindly point to a dish and that would be the best decision you’ve ever made. If you’re not feeling so adventurous try my favs - Cashew chicken, mu shu pork, black pepper beef, cold TsingTao beer… do it now!

Our family loves Bo Ling’s! Our favorites are peppered steak, sizzling rice soup, mu shu pork, hot and sour soup, cashew chicken, and shrimp dumplings. The service is on point too! Can’t wait to come back:

Bff needs to return a blouse she bought ? (it's a habit). Off we go to one of her favorite all in one shopping places-119th and Nall. She returns blouse and buys 2 more items ?. We saunter around and I'm hungry and she mentions Bo Lings. I've never been nor heard about it. SO, let's go! We enter and are immediately greeted and shown to our servers "favorite booth". Bff tells me this is her favorite Chinese restaurant and when my hot and sour soup arrives, I agree! WOW! JEEPERS! this soup is NOT watery (like alot of others). It's loaded with full sliced mushrooms, tofu, etc, and has a significant hot taste that actually warms my throat. EXCELLENT. The Sapporo beer is a recommendation from our server and rounds out the hot taste with a mild IPA. My luncheon general toas chicken is drenched in a thick and spicy sauce and the chicken is all white meat-no mystery dark meat here! It's served with my choice of fried rice. The fried rice is not dry and crunchy, it's moist and delicate. I don't even need to douse my meal with soy sauce! It's a musical without accompaniments because you don't need it! Service is friendly and be advised it's a perfect slow yet timely. Food is prepared as ordered so nothing tastes like it comes from a "warmer" and dished up and thrown on the food pass from thr kitchen. Bathroom is super clean-love the succulent plant (adorable). Beautiful food presentation and a truly hearty meal that is affordable. I'm really hoping they open a restaurant in larryville! ?
