I've been here a few times and it's always enjoyable. They had a pretty impressive live musician playing. The wait staff despite being very busy were still very friendly and attentive. The menu is fairly small but the quality is excellent for every dish I've tried. The cocktails are unique and delicious. If you're looking for a fun dining experience, I recommend dropping by Murphy's Corner.

Draft Beer was flat and when asked for a new one, was charged for both. Not sure entirely they would do this. The flat beer had one drink out of it

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Burgers were their Monday special. We ordered the cheeseburger which came with fresh lettuce, tomato, and pickled onions. The onions rings and cheeseburger were excellent. A couple sitting near us had ordered pizza and it looked and smelled delicious! They have quite an extensive menu featuring housemade entrees. We definitely will return to try the fish, chicken, and pork tenderloin. We enjoyed the casual ambiance and attractive decor. My husband loved the many TV screens showing a variety of sports. Our waiter, Jonathan, was friendly, helpful, and efficient. We will be back!

Murphy's prides themselves on their made from scratch pub fare and they rightly should-- it was our first visit and everything was DELICIOUS. We customized a 16" pizza, had the hand breaded chicken strips with homemade coleslaw and hand cut fries-- awesome. Highly impressed that even the coleslaw had a true 10/10 recipe. The server also highly recommended the French dip and Salmon dip (served cold with warm pita), and we will be back for those soon. A true endorsement from our server was that there were foods/dishes coming into this job that he didn't think he liked and then Murphy's changed his mind. He also talked us into their homemade Chardonnay cake- for any Bundt cake lovers, it's a must! Monday's are Cajun nights and live music, there are $2 off specials Tuesday-Thursday and Fridays are for the meatloaf-- can't wait to try that too. The ambiance is brightly lit, classic pub vibes- all attire and humans accepted- definitely feels like it's a place where eventually everyone would know your name! Also a great spot to watch Chiefs and KU games- screens everywhere!

We just went to Murphys corner tonight and I am so impressed! The food, the service, and the atmosphere was top notch! The waitress Lynn was so attentive and nice!!!! She made great food suggestions! Jessica, the owner, came over and introduced herself and was so genuinely interested to hear how our experience was. They were both just the sweetest people!!!! We will definitely be back!!! And my dad bought a Murphy's Corner shirt and loves it! Thanks again Jessica and Lynn!

It's a decent enough corner bar. I tried to find someplace local since I'm new in town. Food tasted great. The only thing was that I felt like I was ignored when I first came in by the bartender. Luckily there was another guy working there who was really nice and made it a point to keep checking to see how I was doing so I really appreciated that. It's definitely not a bad place to get together but all the same maybe it's not for me.
