Really good coffee in a clean and airy space with free wi-fi, a small and simple kids play area (for ages 5 and under), and a nice view of Sar-Ko-Trails Park. My daughter and I walked over from the park on a hot and humid day so I could enjoy a cold brew. They sell small juice boxes for kids as well as the typical assortment of espresso drinks, etc. We didn’t try the pastries/cookies, but we did have a protein ball, which was tasty. We’ll definitely return when we’re in the area.

Tucked away near a lake with amazing outdoor views, this coffee shop is an amazing spot to relax and have a coffee, food, and maybe a pastry. The outside seating is wonderful. This is a must try destination.

My experience was bitter sweet, i guess. . I visited on a Sunday before service. I sat down in the coffee shop area while i waited on my coffee order and to my surprise NO ONE took the time to come and say hello or try to get to know me like most people in some churches do. So after a while of receiving my coffee and sitting down i just got up and left. I would definitely come back to order another coffee. . . sadly to check out the service Not so much. . First impressions say a LOT

We’ve been coming here for 15 ish years and still love it! A great place to grab a snack and a coffee before heading to the park, or a great place to visit with friends great place to get some work done while the kids are playing ball in the gym!

Dietary restrictions: While I don't need them myself, they have a lot of gluten free options that were delicious.

This Coffee House is tucked away behind the Foundry Church, with a relaxing view of the lake at Sar Ko Park! I had a delicious and refreshing Iced Chai Latte which hit the right spot for cooling off. The chocolate chip cookie was alright. The lady behind the counter was very nice. There's not alot of seating, but it is spread out enough for privacy. A some bonus items: 1. They have a glass enclosed play area for the kids. 2. A rock climbing wall! Wow! It wasn't open at the time. 3. An outdoor sitting area to enjoy the lakeview. Overall, it was a quiet shop, not too crowded and they make a great Iced Chai Latte. Give them try. I'll be back!

Great coffee. Great snacks. We showed up while a literal orchestra was playing in the lobby and had to be waved through to order... it was probably the most fun surprise I've ever had at a coffee house. This place is all good vibes and good people.

The Foundry is an excellent coffeeshop located in The Foundry Church. It is open during the days every day, except Monday. There are nice places to sit inside and out, overlooking Lenexa's Sar-Ko-Par Park. They have a playroom that will keep children entertained; and, because it is somewhat soundproofed, it allows for undisturbed conversation in the main dining room. We have had both hot and cold drinks at The Foundry and were pleased every time.

A coffee shop in a church. Lots of kids and families. Not quiet, but nice.

This is a very relaxing, easy-going coffee shop located within a church. They have a wide range of hot and cold coffee/tea drinks, and they are affordably priced. The “bottomless“ coffee is a great deal, and they have decaf available too! There is a park nearby, and they also have outdoor seating. The inside has a nice combination of tables and soft chairs, though it is a bit echoey.

Kid-friendliness: They have a play room for children, and hot chocolate & other non-caffeinated items are on the menu.
