Just left and for a lack of better words, it DISAPPOINTS …!!!! If ya like “CHEWING” on bland, overcooked meats, this is definitely your place. It ranks up there with some of the worst ever… Don’t waste your time..!!!!!

We love Haywards. They have the best ribs in the area. I’ve been going there for over 3 decades.

visiting from Texas. World of difference. I've eaten alot of BBQ and this was not great . The brisket was sliced so thin that it reminded me of sandwich meat you get in a bag. Burnt ends were good but that was about it.

The service was great, but the pulled pork was dry and not a lot of taste.

Table had ribs, "Hayward's Hash" (Chopped smoked beef brisket, burnt ends, and smoked pork rib tips on a toasted sesame hoagie roll -- basically a BBQ sloppy Joe), and a brisket sandwich plus tots, slaw, mac & cheese, and potato salad. It was all... Ok. Ribs were fine but not particularly distinguished, the hash reminded me of an equally ok "chipped beef" sandwich I had in Chicago once, the brisket was sliced deli thin and pretty dry, and the sides were just... Fine. I grew up in KC and currently live in the exurbs of Chicago and I've got to say I'm having better BBQ near where I live today than where I grew up :( .

Fantastic BBQ. Went with a small party of co-workers and between all of the sandwiches, pulled pork, burnt ends, ribs, ect…. Everything was delicious and all members of my party left happily fed.

Best of the best! Smoked turkey is in point and if you like pastrami you HAVE to get thier smoked pastrami on seeded rye w saurkraut and mustard.....omg! It's the bbq version of a rueban sandwich and let me tell ya...it's a game changer! 1 sandwich is Enough for 2 people...or 2 meals if you don't want to share :) The manager was so kind, he brought our service dog a bowl of water while we ate. The server and bartender were amazing...
And we didn't even order drinks! They were just a great team over the lunch hour. Thank you Haywards for making our stop enjoyable from start to finish!
