Holy land cafe is one of my favorite restaurants in town. I’ve been eating here for 15 years. Never had a bad experience! Always delicious! Amazing value! Thank you!

I love stopping by when I'm on this side of town. The food is so delicious! All the flavors are bursting out of each dish and all go together so well. Not to mention the rice is always cooked to perfection and the prices aren't bad either. The portion sizes make it easy to get full with just a little bit left over to savor for later.

Excellent Mediterranean in an otherwise unimpressive location. Good service and good prices make it a great lunch stop, too.

So I actually would like the baklava a tad sweeter but I can't think of any other quibble and no issues. Generous quantities of really good food. Got gyro and chicken schwarma platter ... started with baba ghannouj. All of it good even the veggie/rice sides and hot fresh soft bread which is key.

Super friendly staff, quick service and food came out fast. No wait for a table.

Place rocks!!!

This is the best Mediterranean style restaurant. We go there every time we come back to KC. We use to live in the area and ate here frequently. We moved to California and haven't found anywhere that's as good as Holy Land Cafe despite looking for something. We've found some comparable places but none as good.

I've literally never had bad food from this place. Their lunch specials are priced comparably with fast food restaurants' inflated prices (as of 2024) but you get a WAY better meal! If you're in a hurry, call ahead to order, but be a decent human and just order what's on the menu without asking for a bunch of changes. The staff will treat you nicely, but they work hard, so don't be a pain.

I can't think of what else to say. Amazing lunches, good baklava...what else do you want to know? Oh yeah, and the guy who takes orders over the phone will absolutely tease you and say it will be ready next week. Just be prepared. :)

Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian lunches and dinners.

Parking: Parking can be tight here, so be prepared not to park right in front of the front door. Leave your land yacht at home for the sake of other patrons and the environment. That said, it's worth it even if you have to leave your oversized vehicle at home and take a rideshare.

Best Greek in KC/still my go-to but has become more pricey and quality has started to decline.

Found this place on accident while I was in the area. Food was amazing, service was great and the price was very reasonable.

Walked tonight at 730pm to have a dining dinner with my wife till I was told to only do take-out and NOT open for dinning ! Where in the world can turn customers away from dining in and your closing time posted on website and door sign says 8pm. if a customer walks in 30 minutes before closing time why would not the store manager honor that ? I asked to talk to the manager and he was belligerently asked me to follow the rules of not sitting down and eat if it's 30 minutes before the closing. First, I don't work for you to follow your own rules . Second, you have your own world to think customers do not matter anymore if you are rushing to get home quicky and turning down orders for diners. Poor customer service, rude manager, bad energy place, poor hygiene, and disgusting smell coming from kitchen staff ! l would never come back and highly recommend noone to try this place. The horror of past experiences of customers for the past decade was heart breaking. This place had many owners n the who buy and sold this place numerous times because of poor leadership and lack of skills. I won't be surprised if this place goes out of business soon! horrible experience !!
