Jack Stack Barbecue - Lenexa

6 of us went to dinner July 19. All thought the food was fair and very overpriced. Cocktails were good. Food not even close to worth the price

Melissa was wonderful give her a raise!!! We had the 2 que burnt end combo and the beef just melts in your mouth. We don’t live here but we’ll definitely be back. We have family that flys their private plane in just to come here for a meal and then flys back to Iowa. It really is that good!!!

Good food. The service was bad. We had two waiters. One was fine, and the other was terrible. We had to flag them down for drink refills and our check. I gave the waiter my credit card and went off for 15 minutes. Then he forgot he had in his apron when questioned. The sausage was dry, but the burnt ends were great. Do yourself a favor and get the carrot cake. It is amazing.

Our waiter Coffee ☕️ made for an amazing experience. Glad to see he was teaching French his ways. Make sure to ask for one of the two when you visit! Oh, food was outstanding as well.

I actually have not liked Jack Stack after a couple visits to the OVP and downtown locations, but this one changed my opinion! Came for a work dinner and everything was delicious! Burnt Ends are my favorite BBQ dish and the pork and beef burnt ends did not dissapoint! Service was great as well.

Only complaint was that the private dining room they put us in is like 3 stories tall without a scrap of sound absorbent material. I could barely here what the person right next to me was saying with all the echo in the room.

Amazing food and service

BBQ the way it should be. Great value. People come to KC for great que and this is a great place to start.

The ribs and burnt ends were both note fat then actual beef meat to eat. French fries were cold and inedible, service was spotty. The meal was just disappointing.

As usual, the hors d'oeuvres and dinner tasted very good, however while our server seemed to be keeping pace with other tables, at ours, our server failed to achieve basic details. One of our drink orders arrived while we finished the hors d'oeuvres, and one of our main entrees arrived 10/min after the rest of the table received theirs. When inquiring after the missing entrée, we were advised that shrimp takes a longer time to prepare; interesting that it arrived shortly thereafter.

Great place to take friends visiting for the weekend. Always great food, service and ambiance.

Some of the best burnt ends in Kansas City! The Lenexa location is upscale but the wait staff is friendly and laidback. Great place to wind down your week or after a business event.

Jack Stack is my go to for favorite BBQ in KC. The food is always amazing and the atmosphere is great for any occasion.

The pork rib choice on the combo plate were delicious, very tender and fell off the bone. The fried mushrooms as an appetizer is a great choice as they are very big. The smoked salmon salad offered a nice salmon portion that had great taste. Our server Scott, did a great job on tending to our dining experience.

This is my third time going here. The food is absolutely outstanding. I had the hickory smoked chicken chili along with a McCoy sammie. Delicious.

The service was excellent. Sadly, the food quality has dropped greatly at this location . The smoked wings appetizer was completely overcooked and dried out. The barbecue shrimp were way over seasoned and extremely saltier than usual. Burnt ends were very fatty and portion size was minimal. Though a faithful patron of this restaurant chain for decades, quality control needs to be increased for what is coming off the line.  I have heard similar comments from friends who have also frequented here, and hope they can pull it together. Hard to recommend at this time.
