We used Kate Smith Soirée for our wedding desserts and we have no regrets! We had a small wedding cake for us, and cupcakes for the rest of the guests. The process from start to finish was amazing, we set up a tasting and were impressed with all of the flavors. It was hard to narrow it down! Once we chose the flavors, we allowed Kate to handle it from there. We were able to rent out the cake stand and cupcake displays which made it very easy to return. She had everything set up the day of the wedding and it was beautiful. Our guests loved the cupcakes! Highly recommend Kate Smith Soirée for your desserts!

Kate was fabulous to work with! We did two cake flavors and both were amazing! Tasting was a highlight, design was flawless, but most of all I appreciated this was one vendor I didn't have to worry about. She nailed it.

We knew we wanted her desserts immediately after getting engaged, and from start to finish, our experience with her was flawless. The desserts were stunningly beautiful, incredibly delicious, and exactly what we envisioned for our wedding day. Every detail was executed perfectly — from the elegant display to the freshness and variety of flavors. Guests told us all night and are still talking about how good everything we got from her was!

Delivery was right on time, the setup was so thoughtfully styled, and working with her was so pleasant! She is kind, professional, responsive, and made the entire process stress-free. On top of all that, the pricing was very reasonable for the quality and presentation we received.

She met with us personally for a complimentary tasting prior to our wedding, and we knew we were in great hands. She completely brought our vision to life exactly as we asked and even better than we imagined. If you’re considering her for your wedding or event, don’t hesitate. Worth every penny and more. She’s the best!!!!

I LOVE coffee, but never know what to order because crazy spending on coffee is not usually my jam. I asked for some random non-sensical drink, and the barista knew just what I wanted! It ended up being a large iced pumpkin latte with oat milk - the best one I have ever had (and I do splurge in the fall for my favorite)! My friend and I pulled out our straws together to enjoy our drinks, and we both looked down and at each other at the same time in shock - THE STRAWS WERE HEART SHAPED. I have NEVER seen such an attention to detail before and loved it so much! They also had an amazing atmosphere and macaroons - the entire place was like they read my mind and catered to me. I will definitely be back bringing all of my girlfriends! THANK YOU Katie Smith Soiree for giving me a great memory after an especially hard week ❤️

I had a phenomenal 1st time experience at this gorgeous coffee house! Their coffee choices are fun and yummy, there is a sweet variety of bakery items and the prices are very reasonable, I can't wait to be back again. The decoration is also super cute and relaxing, it feels warm and inviting like one of those coffee shops from the movies! Adorable and beyond and their
customer service rocks! Definitely worth it 👌 💜

I love working with Kate Smith Soiree! I'm a wedding coordinator with The Perfect Touch KC so you know we see a lot of cake & desserts! Kate & her team are incredibly efficient. Their deliveries & setup are super precise, sometimes in & out of the venue in a snap! Their desserts are also SO good. From time to time I will also return rentals for couples & I can never stop myself from purchasing a sweet treat at her storefront as well. So whether you're looking for a new coffee shop or a baker for your wedding cake, you've found both & Kate Smith Soiree is wonderful!

I loved Butterfields at the Lenexa public market and the goodies at Kate Smith Soirée are amazing. Unfortunately, the last two times I’ve tried to get something, I stood around for minutes without being acknowledged and wound up leaving. I know they see me, and I’m more than happy to wait if someone would throw me a “be with you in a sec,” but there’s nothing. The time I went prior to the two times I walked out, I was experiencing the same thing but Kate pointed out that someone should be greeting people. Three times in a row (one solved by Kate’s intervention) is just too much for me.

Thoroughly enjoyed the tea party fall menu! Favorites were the turkey cranberry sandwich, scones, lemon tartlette, and cinnamon orange tea.

My husband got me this cake for my bday and I loved it so much I cried. It was absolutely perfect and tasted freaking delicious. I wish I was better at taking pictures cause this cake deserved its own photo shoot.

I worked with Kate Smith for our wedding brunch reception and the desserts were absolutely fantastic!! Kate and her team created delicious macarons that made an impressive tower, cake pops that were a hit with adults and kids alike and mini cupcakes that were beautiful and delicious. We also had baked goods from her shop before the wedding and they were amazing! I highly recommend this bakery for all your sweet treat needs. Wonderful food, super helpful service, and a real win all around.

I absolutely love getting to pop in to Kate Smith Soiree for a little personal pick me up treat. But bringing my son in there to get treats or my friends for a tea party!!!! AMAZING!

I will also say as an engagement and wedding photographer I work with a ton of different desert and cake shops and Kate Smith Soiree is the absolute best. Not only for consistency and deliciousness but also for presentation and execution!
