The food was delicious and I could tell it was made from scratch and with care. The owner Lisa was very kind and full of genuine smiles. I am happy that Lenexa public market has given the opportunity to provide a space for independently run small businesses. And I love supporting local small businesses who care about the quality of the product and the relationship with the customer. I will be back very soon with coworkers and friends to have them experience the flavors that kimchi and bap have to offer. There is something that hits different about made from scratch dishes. I recommend when choosing protein to go with spicy chicken bulgogi. Have not tried the beef, I’m sure it’s just as delicious, but the chicken warmed my heart. New loyal customer here.

Love the japchae! It's one of my favorites and I like how there's a good amount of veggies in it. I also like to get the bulgogi bowl to take home and split it for my other meals because the portion size is larger. Lisa is so nice and always makes sure you're getting what you need.

So good! The portions are large and the taste is spot on. Growing up eating my mom’s Korean food, it’s hard to find anything that compares in taste and quality. The bibimbop sauce is amazing and the seasoning on all the veggies are so delicious. I would definitely recommend for those that are wanting to try the authentic taste of Korean food! The owner is super friendly as well.

I ordered the bibimbap with chicken and it was the gift that kept on giving. The variety and quality of vegetables was unreal, and truly a work of art. I appreciated how fresh and perfectly flavored everything was, to include the spicy kick. Although the portions were generous, I also had to order the japchae with beef so I could have the full experience.
