Korma Sutra - Indian Restaurant in Kansas City

My love for Indian Cuisine grew even stronger in 2014 when I fell in love with the food that comes out of this kitchen but what puts it into another level is the friendliness of the owner. He has made a huge difference in my life.

Awesome food and service

Delicious. They brought appetizers, rice pudding, ice cream, Tea, and an extra entray to try.

Our first experience at Korma Sutra guaranteed that this establishment will be on our dining agenda next time we’re in Kansas City. From the minute we walked in the door our experience was beyond what we expected. Even as we were ordering off the menu, we were greeted with an unexpected treat of Chai Latte and papadums with delicious chutney. The entire meal, which was superb, was punctuated with arrival of unexpected treats, gratis.. The owner made entertaining appearances. What a culinary delight and live entertainment throughout!

They do not offer buffet as shown in google. We just sat there and play were served with napkins. Then we got to know that the menu was way too pricey for Indian cuisine. Reset we want to leave as there is no buffet also, then the manager of server he was shouting that we were wasting money with the plates and napkins worst experience

We visited this restaurant recently expecting a buffet as the google said they offer lunch buffet. When asked the waitress mentioned they don’t offer buffet but the food is tasty and gave us the menus and offer some tea and left. The menu didn’t have many options that we expected so we wanted to leave but the manager or owner was very rude he started ranting about we wasted their food and started shouting that when we enter we wait and take a look if there is buffet and then proceed which was ridiculous we did not even touch anything not even the water. Very disappointed, wouldn’t suggest this place to anyone and wouldn’t return again.

The hospitality here is what differ this place from all the other Indian restaurants I have visited. From the waitresses to the owner excellent services. They also have a private area for parties.
A place you feel welcomed while letting them know how much you are enjoying their ethnic cuisine is rare to find.

Good food, excellent service.

Probably the best Indian food I’ve had.. and the service to match. So incredibly friendly and kind and helpful, we got to sample a few other dishes that we didn’t order. My husband is a pretty decent chef at a well known KC restaurant and was BLOWN AWAY by both the service and the food. 11/10. Will be back, over and over.

Very fun experience!!!! Got a lot of treats!!!! The owner I believe was so great, and the waitress staff was very pleasant!!! My children loved it!!! Food was great definitely making memories!!!

Fantastic service and even better food. The Two persons non-vegetarian dinner was a great way to try a variety of dishes and is a large amount of food. Highly recommend!

Went here today for the first time and they were so nice. I came in to get a to go and they sat us down and served us some chai tea some chips and salsa and some delicious drink to try. It was the best experience the food is delicious the place was clean and they were just all so nice. Will be coming back again. I ordered butter chicken, chicken masala and chicken korma.
