Margarita's Mexican Restaurant - Lenexa KS

Bad salsa taste like ketchup and barbecue. And whoever had red and pink hair was very rude it was an empty restaurant and she was rushing our drink order. That’s fine we got up and left, no one needs to put up with bad attitude and salsa!

The food was fantastic. Which was the saving grace. It was a Saturday night, but, the restaurant really wasn't that busy. Despite that, we spent about 2 hours there. We repeatedly had to ask for the same things over and over and would even see our server chatting with people at the bar instead of bringing a drink, or the check etc. Then she would forget what we asked for. Rinse and repeat. I would recommend the place for sure if the servers were decent. And maybe we got the one bad one. But man, it was frustrating. Good food though!

The Magarita dip is amazing and one of the best Margarita's we have ever had. Kate our bartender was awesome! We will definitely be back!

Food was good, kind of loud, but the issue was that my mother-in-law gave my daughter two hundred dollars in gift envelopes that had the writing on the outside that it was cash and Franklin's face was visible as well. My daughter accidentally left the envelopes on the table and went back in immediately and kind of got the runaround till one of the envelopes miraculously was found. However the other one was not. So somebody either stole $100 or threw it away. My daughter left and called my wife to inform her of her issue and then my wife called the restaurant and talked to the manager who said they would review camera footage to see what happened. Bottom line is that they found nothing and my daughter lost $100. We will not return.

We visited the restaurant today and it was crowded when we arrived. We were seated within 20 minutes or so. Our waiter didn’t have many tables in the section and he wasn’t attentive. However, there was a lady server nearby who helped us. We heard another table speaking to a waiter about their food being cold. We ordered drinks (sodas)and they were flat. I let the waiter know and he didn’t say anything. I asked if they have tea or lemonade and he brought lemonades that were ok. We ran out of chips, he did not bring a refill. We asked the lady and she assisted. Our food came out and it was cold. At this point myself and the kids were starving, so we started eating. My husband’s food was remade. Overall the service, the food and the atmosphere was not good during this visit. I will not go back or recommend. Thank you to the female server, who was not the person with our table but tried to make our experience a little more pleasant.

Me and the family we're not impressed by the food here whatsoever. Meat was dry and the ingredients and flavoring was not good. Salsa was not chunky and had the consistency of hot sauce. Service was decent but for the higher than normal price, the portions not being that big, and the mediocre food, we won't be back.

Doesn’t maintain posted business hours

Been eating at Margaritas for 20 years… we try others and always come back here. Now if the would sell a watermelon margarita and a mocktail of the same…we would love it. STILL MISS their daily specials they used to have before COVID—-we went more often with the specials than we do now due ti lack of.

I love the tacos they're so good!!!

Food use to be more affordable. Now in order to cut costs their tacos and portions have taken a turn for the worse. The quality of the ground beef is not the quality it use to be. It's bad. Every time we go in they raise the prices. Use to be a value for the there new prices we could go to a knifel and fork restaurant. Sad🙁

Fun sit down tex mex place in Lenexa. The puffy tacos are yummy, also really enjoyed the cheese and onion wnchiladas with Mexican brown gravy. Great service tops it off as a great place to spend your hard earned dollars for eating out
