Great food! Give you noodles too and shrimp appetizer with every meal. This was our first time to ShoGun and were very pleased. Our chef was great too. He was really funny and interactive. Love it that this restaurant still throws you the shrimp. Be hungry as they give you lots of food with your order. Awesome sever very attentive too and kept our drinks refilled. Chef very polite and asked multiple times if everything was good or if there was anything else he could do for us. Definitely a new favorite for our large group.

This locally-owned Sushi Bar, Japanese dining, and Hibachi Grill, is a Hidden Gem. They always offer friendly service and great food! If you're not feeling like Sushi, or Hibachi, they offer some traditional Japanese entrees as well; Tonkatsu, Yaki udon, Yaki soba, Teriyaki, etc... A unique feature of theirs, is the Japanese style dining-room tables.

The food was bland. The chef at the grill only cooked with no conversation or entertainment. $7.15 for one watery Mai Tai and I can't believe they charge extra for fried rice when he makes it right there with everything else. My friends ordered steamed since they didn't want to pay extra for fried and the waitress didn't bring it until right before the check (after being asked twice). Sushi was only 6 pieces instead of 8. There are a lot better places to go for exceptional food that aren't nearly as high priced as this place.

This place has delicious food and uniquely awesome seating. Their prices are great! I was expecting to pay way more for the quality of food. Now, the Miso soup...Oh the Miso... ...I HAD to order some to go after we ate because I liked it so much. 😋 There may be a wait depending on when you go, but you won't regret eating here!

Family of 5. All our plates were still dirty, we had to wipe it off with our napkins. The miso soup is bad, tastes like a watered-down version of the broth in ramen noodle. The hibachi food was good and sushi was good. The man making our food was interactive and friendly. The service was decent. On the menu it says a gratitude fee will be charged for party of 6 or more. We had 5 but they still charged us. Overall... Probably will not be coming back.

We went on a Saturday evening at about 6:30 and it was booked until 8, but we took a regular table and still got the hibachi style meal, just no show. Fried rice was good, the noodles however weren't as good.

So friends found bones in their meal and plastic in their sushi rolls. Then there was a small baby cockroach on one of our plates. The waitress seemed a bit flustered, which is fair since we all jumped out of our seats when we saw the roach, but the fact that the manager never came over and apologised and they thought we still wanted our food was just ridiculous. If there are bones and plastic and bugs on two of the plates then the whole table is probably contaminated. I will make sure to let my other friends know to not come here anymore.

I've been here several times, with varying degrees of satisfaction. The chefs are inconsistent at best, and $4 is ridiculous for a bowl of steamed white rice. It's always been spotty but after this last time, never again. We had a group of six. One friend ordered the teriyaki chicken, and found a piece of bone in his meal. Another friend found pieces of actual plastic in her $14 sushi roll. Worse still, as the meal was winding down, she noticed the baby cockroach on her plate. The server was nice and all and seemed a bit flustered about how to handle this. The manager never came out to talk to us. But regardless of the quality of service, we're never going back. Make a better decision and just go to Sake Lounge instead.
