Visiting Missouri and the area of Lenexa for the first time for a real estate conference, I thought of having some barbecue ribs. Still, I craved sushi without asking, just Googleing what was close to the hotel. Uni Sushi came across. I read some of the reviews and said, why not give it a try, the moment I walked in, I was very well impressed. The place is super cozy. It looks adorable and very welcoming. I sat at the bar since I was by myself, and the personnel at the bar was just excellent. Raul, one of the sushi chefs, can recommend based on your preferences and is super friendly. The most crucial part is that I had great quality sushi. I had my lovely pieces of Uni, ikura, and Toro, and a very well-recommended role from one of them. If you’re in the area, if you ever come to Kansas City and want to drive to Lenexa, you better stop at Uni Sushi. This is amazing. Forget about BBQ ribs

This place is packed with people as their sushi lunch is super duper good and very inexpensive. I only like to eat fresh here w/o take home, so two roles is more than enough for me! Special recommendation for Maki! The role on the right.

5 is my highest rating & I only give reviews on 5 star venues. My Japanese friends in California taught me about sushi. Sushi Uni serves only '"A" Quality fish. Sushi Uni has a huge menu. Rolls, sushi, sashimi, grilled items & let's not forget big selection of Sake. EVERYONE there gives excellent service. I love sitting at sushi bar and watching the guys make sushi. Thanks to owners Jason & Heather.
