The staff were incredibly sweet and helpful.I tried five different things, and I wish they had smaller quantities to buy so I could try more things before committing to the larger containers. Unfortunately, I ended up throwing everything out after trying them.The cupcakes were moist, but not flavorful, and the frosting was colorful and beautifully designed, but flavorless and oily.The lemon bars were not very lemony. I prefer ones with a lot of zest, and these were half bland crust and not enough lemon to balance it.I hope this was just an off day because I want the best for local small businesses, but this was not a good bakery experience, and we have so many other great bakeries in town.

The owner and staff were super sweet, but the flow of the place was a little awkward. Unfortunately, the food was a hard no, all around. We tried a blueberry cruffin, raspberry thumprints, lemon bar, and medium sized cupcakes (vanilla and chocolate). The pastry of the cruffin by itself had great potential. Unfortunately, the blueberry cream cheese filling, and sugar that the pastry it was rolled in, completely overwhelmed the flakiness. The raspberry thumbprints didn't have a shortbread texture or flavor and the lemon bars were a flavorless gelatin. And finally, the cupcakes. The frosting was clearly made with something that wasn't dairy, because of the oily consistency it left in your mouth and on your hands. And you guessed it, the vanilla and chocolate cake, while moist, was flavorless. In short, I've had a better experience from every box mix I've ever had.

This place is a gem, allows you to support wonderful, local folks!Open only on the weekends in Lenexa in a strip mall around 77th n Quiveria, this amazing couple works 7 days a week at their craft. They run a catering business M-F, then are open on the weekends to the public.So 3 breakfast offerings (see pics - frittata, breakfast burrito, & an amazing bacon, egg and cheese croissant) in addition to their full bakery offerings of baked goods, cookies, pies, toffees & cheesecakes+.But most importantly and moreover re: breakfast, during the first weekend of each month, they serve the most amazing biscuits and Gravy in KC!!! True scratch biscuits with density and flavor (not processed pure white flower nor some chorizo or turkey funk) and an amazing sausage (savory) gravy. Incredible.And I was there at 10:30 am on Sunday morning and scored the last batch.And the butter toffee is superb.Check it out and plan accordingly!

Such a cute, quaint little place tucked in a strip mall. Only open Saturday and Sunday only open till 3:00. Yummy, unique baked goods, frittatas and croissant sandwiches as well as cheesecake, scones, cookies and more! Owners are very nice. There are 3 small tables for dining in. Check it out! Support small businesses

We love to support local! The Pantry is locally owned by an extremely talented baker! We popped in today to try them out & left with 8 different items-oops! :) Get a Cruffin-they are a little heaven on earth! The scones are divine. Jalapeno cheddar is the perfect amount of savory. I didn't get a picture before we dove in to taste everything. I can't wait to go back!

Sweet family, they were wonderful at explaining all their items and nice to chat with. The apple pie and victorian sponge cake were awesome! Great place to stop at for breakfast and support a small business now that they are back after their break.

They baked the cakes for our wedding and it was the #1 most-raved-about aspect of the wedding haha, people LOVED it. We also loved it! Husband brought extra to work, everyone loved it. Friends talk about this place. We've gone back for cheesecake and a chocolate silk pie since then, both so delicious. The people are kind and friendly and the place is very clean. It's all great. You'll love it!

Our experience with The Pantry KC was absolutely phenomenal. Not only was our cake stunning and delicious, but Dee also went out of her way to ENSURE we got our cake when we forgot to send someone to pick it up. The day of our wedding, she tried to contact us several times. My phone was tucked away so I could enjoy our special day, so the shop closed before we even realized the cake was missing. When my sister and bridesmaids finally checked my phone, Dee went completely out of her way to head back to her shop and facilitate a last minute pickup. THANK YOU DEE. You were so forgiving of our oversight and we cannot thank you enough for pursuing thoughtfulness and selflessness in those moments when we needed it most. We will be going back again and again for our cake needs.
