I've driven by this pizza place for years and haven't stopped in until today. I'm kicking myself SOOO hard right now for being such a fool. AMAZING PIZZA. ABSOLUTELY 100% authentic Chicago tavern style thin cracker crust pizza. OMG. So good.
I grew up in a little town in the middle of Nebraska that had ONE pizza joint - owned and operated by a nice old man from from Chicago. That place has been closed for a few years now and I haven't been able to find anything close since. I'm now pushing 60 and eating this pizza brought a flood of memories from my childhood when I would stop in every afternoon and deliver the newspaper after school and beg Papa Ray for a slice.
Ordered the Sink and substituted extra onion for the green olive and swapped sauerkraut for the pineapple.
I can die happy now.
I will so be back.

I haven’t even gotten my food yet but it’s incredible in here. Cheap food. Golden Tee arcade game. Carpet from the 90s I’m so happy right now!!!! Never change!!!!

I came in during lunch and got an Italian beef, it was phenomenal. Hot gardinera, au jus on the side. I loved it, the service was very friendly as well. I used to go here as a kid, and I'm glad to see it's still amazing all the way around. I can't wait to go back and get some true Chicago tavern style pizza.
