I came in during lunch and got an Italian beef, it was phenomenal. Hot gardinera, au jus on the side. I loved it, the service was very friendly as well. I used to go here as a kid, and I'm glad to see it's still amazing all the way around. I can't wait to go back and get some true Chicago tavern style pizza.
The Italian Beef is simply a work of beauty, just freakin perfect. I could go on for several paragraphs on what a masterpiece and otherwise perfect delight this gift from the heavens is.......but you should just go, and experience the truth for yourself, the Italian Beef is an absolute smashed outta the park homerun, no discussion, no other contenders can even throw a hat into the ring, just a legend served to you, absolute masterclass.
