We pre ordered for takeout and was asked if we would like to pick up through the Drive Through. The young lady that took my order over the phone was very friendly and professional she asked our name and what time would we be there for our order. I arrived on time and during my pick-up I notice my order that was given to me was very light, after going inside, I meet the manger on shift Bailey who was very professional in handling the mixup of my order/food and in turn helped make my experience extremely positive and enjoyable! The customer service I was given was exceptional and we will definitely be returning in the near future. Thank you Bailey!

Hands down the best BBQ place ever! Their classic brisket sandwich is amazing. My husband loves their burnt end beans. Everything they have on their menu is a win! Family friendly atmosphere. Great service.

Zardas used to be good but haven't been there since Covid. The prices are very high for what you get. I had the 2-meat plate. The pork burnt ends were tasty, but the brisket was awful! They used to have best brisket in town. Mine was cut paper thin, flat and tasteless. My meat portions would only add up to a handful! Cole slaw not as good as used to be. Beans OK. Only thing that was great was the extra tall glass of cold Pepsi. My bill was $20-$25 and I wasn't even full. I've never had such tiny portions of meat any where. I would suggest you go elsewhere for BBQ. Zardas is no longer good!!!
We recently reserved the banquet room at Zarda BBQ for my mom's celebration of life. It was conveniently located around the corner from The Resurrection Cemetery in Lenexa.
Suzanne, the catering manager, was very pleasant and helpful to work with. From the colored table cloths and napkins to assisting me pick out the a good menu, it was a breeze. They even have a beautiful TV with all the bells and whistles for slide show viewing.
Celeste was our server the day of our event at was very attentive to all of our and our guests needs. The food was yummy and they even packed up the left overs for us to take home.
I highly recommend the banquet room and catering department for your next event.

I was part of a family - wedding rehearsal dinner. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. My family was able to decorate the banquet room (so cute). The food was delicious and we were able to find something for everyone. Highly recommend for celebration.
This place often flys under the radar for KC BBQ. While not my number 1, it is a solid spot for BBQ and it’s walkable distance from my apartment. The beans are some of the best in the KC area and the steak cut fries are really good and do have a bit of a meaty flavor to them (unsure if fried in animal fat?). Ribs are good and the sauce is good too. The dining room is a big plus for nostalgia freaks like me as it’s mostly original from the 70s but it’s clean and well maintained. It is rather pricey and you won’t get much below $20.
