Cafe closes at 2pm.I arrived at 1:24 p.m.,The waitress'sWere complaining about people who come in before closing. Then they gossiped for another few minutes. The younger finaly asks what i want to drink, and what do i want to eat. I asked about the salad bar as she offered no information. I asked for a for 1 minute to look at menu. For those few min. They both complained and gossiped while starring at me.I ordered the open face beef, she asked what side i wanted- i then asked what are my choices, she gave a short list .I chose the carrots. She never checked on me. I finished and waited by cash register. Finally i walked up to kitchen for help.The nice man rang me out, i noticed a $2 up charge for carrots. I asked about it and he named the sides that came with the meal.I always tip well under normal circumstances,But my only tip for my waitress is - DO A BETTER JOB AT WHAT EVER U DO FOR WORK TO SUCCEED

Nice clean place. Excellent salad bar. Chicken fried steak was perfect and gravy was delicious. Good, friendly service. Fresh iced tea. Good prices. Good menu with wide variety of options. Looking forward to the banana cream pie that called out to me and ended up in a "to go" box! Exactly what we were looking for as we skipped the chain places in towns along the way.

I just had there lunch special. Chicken enchiladas with homemade green salsa on the side. I have to say both were awesome. The best i have had in a long long time. OMG ?. They also have a heck of a salad bar & good breakfast. They even have a bar in the the back. Good folks & good food. Local family owned. Ck them out.
