Super great food and really spectacular service. Our waiter, Austin was on it, he was quick and made helpful quick suggestions.

The baked Zita was amazing. 11.99 for this huge portion, which practically fed us all. The cheese in it was super yummy

Great pizza by the slice, amazing salads, even better garlic knots, craft beer options, back patio with an incredible mural. There’s a lot to like about AJ’s. If you’re craving pizza and beer, this is the place.

So let me start by saying it's a college town. It's at the edge of that part of town verses smack dab in the small tight streets. The staff were very friendly . Now it was slow when I came in so not sure how they are when it's a game night or weekend which I'm sure they are slammed. Now Hunter took my order and was so helpful and informative and didn't let my eyes be bigger than my stomach lol. Jackson was friendly and listen to me chatter and explain about the RFTW (comes to junction City every May) . Friendly open environment and family friendly. My food smelled great and looked great. I'd give 4.5 if they existed cause my only complaint was the sauce was a tiny bit too sweet for NY style and tiny bit off spice level wise. Other than that wasn't burnt bottom and folded (the NY style test!) the inside was nice but the outside patio was great on a beautiful weather night. Music and lights all around. A mural on the wall to see and people watching ability. There's parking on the back and front sides. I can't compare to other 'local' pizza places in the area but I'd recommend AJs to anyone no matter who you are! I took a video of the outside and the patios and street since not much on Google but seems to need to be cut in half it's too long. Will add later
Parking: Front street slot spots and back open lot. Varies times of day. During the day there is a 2 hr limit until 5pm.
Kid-friendliness: Open area and inside and outside seating options. Music was chill no bad language. Lots to take in to see. If you have kiddos on the spectrum be aware there is lots of stimulation at 1st but it's chill once settled. There's plenty places to visit while waiting for food or go up street to walk off some energy.
Wheelchair accessibility: The front door and gates both entrance from parking lots and the street so no steps. There is an incline for access if you park on street.

If you don’t tip, then be ready to be disrespected in this location. Or they pretend that they haven’t received any orders.
Just because I couldn't tip once in three years, they made me wait for an hour in the online order pickup parking, even though they weren’t busy. Despite texting three times, no one showed up. Finally, someone reluctantly came out and lied, claiming the online order system was down today, which clearly wasn’t true because both my order and payment went through smoothly.
They told me I could place a new order, but by then, I had already wasted almost 90 minutes in the evening, and it was too late to get something from somewhere else. When I confronted them and said they canceled my order just because I couldn’t tip this time, they finally took my order—but only after making me wait around 120 minutes.
It’s ridiculous and shameful.

Best pizza in town. Unfortunately the very heavy metal music being played outside wasn't what we expected for a family restaurant.

The Cesar salad is so big it is shareable. The pizza bread is delicious and all the toppings were great. Only negative is they do not serve sweet tea.

Nice "hole in the wall" type place. Pretty cozy, pizzas were huge and delicious.
Parking: While not a ton of parking, adequate for what's needed.

Cool place that serves a decent pie. The lack of use of a pizza oven is the only reason it gets 4 instead of 5 stars.
If you expect NY style, it's expected it's done on a flat steel pizza oven, not a conveyor belt oven. The smooth metal adds the best crust treatment. These guys miss that one element which is huge.
