Exceptional service and food! We ordered a large Grilled Cheese Pie and an order of the Buffalo Boneless Wings. The bacon and the crust on the pie were the perfect consistency. Both the wings and pie were fresh and tasty. Everyone we talked to was super friendly and kind. Specifically, Henry asked us about our day and made us feel welcome.

Tried out just a cheese pizza and The 18th and 8th. Solid pizza, crust had a good crisp to it and held up when folding a piece. Good flavors, maybe just a little over cooked. Definitely better than any of the big corporate chains.

We often go to AJs for a quick late night bite on the weekends. The pizza is always so good. We've had the chicken bacon ranch, BBQ chicken, margherita, and their version of a combination ( it has a lot of meat on it so we took a few off). It doesn't matter the flavor, the pizza is always on point. We even eat the crust ( if the crust isn't good we won't eat the ends). My son loves the pepperoni bricks too. The staff is always so friendly and service is fast. They have a shuffleboard table in the corner so we played while we waited for the pizza.

I'll give props for them offering a white sauce that's not ranch or Alfredo instead they go with the traditional garlic olive oil. The crust was crisp on the outside but had no flavor. They're using either canned or frozen spinach vs fresh and preference to saute my mushrooms before putting then on the pie you get much more flavor that way but I look forward to going back and trying it again.

Leaving 4/5 stars for the restaurant as a whole. The pizza was probably a 3/5 if you're comparing it to your favorite. Their garlic knots were not bad, but they were a smidge over baked. The atmosphere was great and their prices are competitive. I'd like to give them another chance soon. Employees were very friendly!

Came from out of town to visit family and stopped in this local shop. Nice atmosphere but by far the worst pizza I ever had. The crust was comparable to frozen Ellios pizza from the market. The sauce was horrible. We also ordered garlic knots by far the worst garlic knots ever. This place has the right atmosphere and they are welcoming but the name shouldn’t have anything with NY in it. The owner needs to go to NY and taste real pizza.

Once we ordered our pizza we could only find a spot with another patrons trash on it. We sat and watched the other tables get cleaned around us while we wait for our pizza in the past patrons filth. Decided to get the food to go and was not impressed by the salty pizza we had been given to consume. People must drunk all year round to eat this. The atmosphere is the only thing it has going for it.
It's pretty good pizza, but it's a tight space. The price was not quite worth it, but the price of everything is going up. It was over $70 for 2 medium specialty pizzas and 4 drinks.Vegetarian options: Present, but there's no highlight or stand out features.

Aj's pizza is a great local place to grab some pizza. They have a great atmosphere to hang out and talk to family or friends. I had the chicken bacon ranch pizza and it was amazing! The garlic knots are also buttery and garlic-y! I would definitely go back for either a slice or a whole pie. They also have a nice selection of alcoholic drinks on tap and bottled.

A nice visit on a cold Kansas night. My wife and I shared a small order of Buffalo Wings, and then we each had our own large slice of pizza. The slices weren't traditional NY Style pizza, but they were hearty and filling none the less. Oh, we both also had side salads, which, again, were hearty, filling, and tasty. The beer menu was appealing also, but maybe next time. Next time I'm in Manhattan, KS I will gladly stop by AJ's again. I strongly recommend them.
