Axe To Grind- Axe Throwing Manhattan, KS

Absolutely loved our time at Axe to the Grind! From start to finish, the experience was smooth, exciting, and just a blast overall. The staff made us feel completely at ease with a clear, easy-to-follow safety briefing that calmed any nerves and got us confident in no time. Our instructor was friendly, patient, and made sure we were comfortable and throwing well before letting the competition heat up. Axe throwing itself was way more fun than we expected—and honestly, it’s hard to think of a better way to spend a Friday night with friends. Drinks, laughter, and a little friendly rivalry? 10/10 would do again!

One of the better axe throwing experiences I've had! We went here on a limb when trying to figure out what to do for date night. They have different sized axes if the regular one is too large/heavy for someone in your party. You can also throw knives, for an additional cost. If you go on someone's birthday, they will throw for free!

I do wish they served some bar food options or something but I do like how they allow you to bring in whatever food you want. We just didn't know about this beforehand. We will be back!

When all the adults have a weekend that we can get away we talked about what to do. It didn’t take much convincing the men to try axe throwing for the first time! After a little adjusting from an amazing coach we threw boys vs girls an had an amazing time. Great staff, nice facility, great time with great friends. Highly recommend to try something new today!!!!

Was looking forward to trying this place out for a work event but ended up waiting outside of a locked building for over 15 minutes. We even had a reservation made in advance with a confirmation email. They did not return our calls/messages so we had to spend the afternoon somewhere else. Sad to see that it looks like this has happened on at least two other occasions over the years looking at past reviews…

We had an AMAZING time!! Jesica is amazing and we had a blast! If you want to have a great time, in Manhattan, Axe To Grind is the place to go!

Great time! And they make sure you know how to throw so you can stick the axe on the board. Very nice
