The owner of this restaurant is a POS and hates women. The food is not good and see a lot of bugs.
One of our favorite places in town to go eat! If you like spicy food this is the place for you they will make it as spicy as you want! We usually get the Chicken Pad Thai and Pineapple Fried rice. Both are great dishes and highly recommend them! I had also gotten the Crab Fried rice and it’s amazing!
If you’re lucky enough to have mangos in season get the Mangos and Sticky Rice dessert you’ll thank me later!

The young hostess ( J or Jay) was so amazing and compassionate with helping out my dad who had a situation. The restaurant is beautiful designed and atmosphere is great with the most amazing food... I could not recommend a better service and meal! Give it a try folks.

Vegan Thai means: no fish sauce (nam pla) and, the fried tofu would be fried in a different oil than what they fry the meat and fish in. So that almost nothing here is vegan! Every soup, every curry, has fish sauce. Pad Thai is boring, has no veg (and of course you have to leave the egg out). All I could eat was broccoli stir fried with fresh tofu and soy sauce. Very plain, and expensive for such a dish. And the lady taking my order had no real interest in vegan, in offering me anything interesting! Wouldnt even let me have mixed green veggies, no, it had to be as per the menu options!i'd never bother to cone back. Updated from previous review on 2024-08-31

My husband and I have been here a few times and we are both impressed with every dish being hot, fast and delicious! Servers are attentive and friendly always. Generous servings and affordability priced!

One of my favorite places in MHK! Consistently delicious food in a calm, attractive atmosphere, and good service. Family friendly.
Food: we've tried about a third of the menu. I have always enjoyed the fresh flavors, lovely textures, and delicate spices. Faves include Black Magic with chicken, Crazy Noodles with tofu, Angry Cowboy, Tom Yum soup, any of the Pad noodles dishes...and don't forget the mango sticky rice!
Atmosphere: calm, friendly, and refreshing. No annoying televisions. No loud music. Instead, warm honey-colored wood, black booths, lovely lamps, and portraits of the Thai Buddha, Kwan Yin, and important people in Thailand. Peaceful. I LOVE it!
Service: the servers do their jobs well and 19 times out of 20, everything is fine. Courtesy, calm, privacy, and efficiency seem to be their goals. I appreciate this because it allows us to relax.
Writing this review makes me look forward to our next visit....
If you haven't been to Baan Thai in MHK, I encourage you to give it a try :-)

The wait staff was not friendly at all except the gentleman that was the cashier. The food was ok. The price was ok. Pretty lackluster.

Horrible service. The food was amazing but the service was beyond poor. It’s interesting because others around us didn’t receive the same poor service as us. Not sure why we had a waitress and host who almost refused to acknowledge our existence. Disappointed is an understatement. If you want pretty good food but poor service come here. If you want an exceptional experience steer clear.
