Love the small plates, the menu and the fun vibe. My only complaint is it can be noisy. But it if you're young that won't bother you! Grab a booth if you can if you're my age and the noise is a little less. Service is great!

I used to eat here at least 1-2x week when I was working downtown, and I have eaten most of what's on the menu. The menu rotates seasonally, I believe, and honestly there will be something for everybody, you gotta go try it out. The servers, bartenders, cooks, and hostesses work together so well and so seamlessly that eating small plated offerings and drinking cocktails feels more like social hour than lunch or dinner. Also, the craft cocktails are so fun and delicious, and of course the bourbon! I gotta tell ya--the cakes and cookies are sooo good, if you go for one thing, check out the bakery at the back of the restaurant. *disclaimer After eating all the cakes and cookies I have to make my body smaller now to fit the scale!

First time visit. Cool concept (great bourbon, small plates & on-site bakery). Amazing menu. And over-the-top service.Got the asparagus fries (amazing), the deviled eggs (great), the fried bologna slider (too salty) and the kobe slider (tasted like Pam spray).Would absolutely go back to try more!

This could just be my taste buds, but I wasn't the biggest fan of the food. Don't get me wrong, it was good. But for the price point on everything they have, it didn't exactly thrill me. The staff were really attentive and nice. The atmosphere was really cool. I'd rather spend less money on the food and more on the bourbon. Overall, it was a great place though.

The service, food, and drinks were all amazing! Our waitress offered excellent recommendations. I enjoyed the perfect old fashioned, while my wife found the margarita with cinnamon quite interesting but very delicious. We'll definitely be back and are already looking forward to it!

Bourbon and Baker is coincidentally one of the reasons we moved to Manhattan. We did not know where we were going to move in Kansas but got to Manhattan and found this upscale and fresh restaurant and realized that Manhattan had all of the big city amenities that we would ever need.Bourbon and Baker has amazing food, interesting drinks and really good desserts and you would not blink an eye to see it in KC or Dallas. We are lucky to have such quality in Manhattan and I wouldn't have it any other way

This is a fun place to go to share dishes and try different drinks. I learned the hard way that there's a long wait on Friday nights, so plan accordingly. Their hummus, asparagus fries, mushroom fries and the cakes are must try dishes.Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options

Didn't expect the liquor prices to be outrageous. Sorry I just can't understand these prices per 1 or 2 oz so I skipped that aspect. We weren't too impressed with the food either. Food prices were a bit high as well. Chicken and waffles and chicken and biscuits. Also tried the duck fat fries. I see so many people loving the food in these reviews. I guess it's just not for me. Not too big on hot sauce being mixed in with syrup and the chicken was so hard and crispy I was afraid of breaking a molar. The waffles were fantastic for the parts that didn't have hot sauce on them. The duck fat fries were also a bit hard and I found the sauce just void of flavor.

An absolute wow! Stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant while visiting Manhattan Kansas. They're bourbon selection is amazing but the food is astounding. Their personal takes on a variety of traditional appetizers and comfort food is delectable. Every time I visit Manhattan Kansas, this establishment will be a must visit. Don't skip the desserts!!!

Delicious. Really enjoyed the variety and loved the tapas approach. Everything was perfectly prepared. Service was solid. Plenty of options for the gluten-free eater. Ate outside since it was a little loud inside. Recommended.
