I ordered the birria beef chimichanga. The beef was plain cooked beef roast, no special seasonings. Tasted like plain roast beef, not at all what I expected based on Mexican flavors and birria recipes I've read. Very disappointing. Also vegetables are quite scarce on the menu. I like veggies but found predominantly chicken, some meat, and starchy foods. I don't care for the current menu and miss the spinach enchiladas.

Always has the best food compared to the other Carlos restraunts. I highly recommend the Pasta Diablo with an extra side of sauce.

Ordered a draft beer that took 15 minutes to receive from the time we were seated . No one working the barc. The food was cold ingredients on a super hot plate . The vegetables were cold and internal meat in the Sancho Especial was cold as well . Waitress was hard to hear and not very attentive

Food was yummy, queso and salsa were both very good server was very attentive and kept all our drinks full even with a 12 person table.

Food was bland. Took along time to get the food. Server was great and quick. Used to enjoy eating there. But after almost $70.00 today. Definitely won't be back. Thanks again to the server. She was great.

Food was somewhat cold, we arrived at 1130am. The large side of guacamole for the chips had absolutely ZERO flavor, it was weird. The waitress was attentive enough and we tipped well. I think they were short staffed in the kitchen that day,whichis not the waitresses fault.
In short summary, its a hit or miss. I love this place mostly though!

Food was disappointing. The rice tasted like I was warmed up in the microwave to make. My drink was great. Their cheese sauce (queso blanco) was delicious.

We ate here on 07/08/25. I try my best to not leave 1 star reviews unless it’s a pretty bad issue. But when I get food poisoning on a first visit, I consider that pretty bad.

To start with, the service was lacking a lot. Our server was really friendly and tried her best, but she honestly seemed to be overwhelmed with no support from her coworkers. Drinks were few and far between and the pre bussing was non existent.

The food was mediocre at best. I ordered the 3 street tacos with steak. One of the 3 tacos was only 1/4 full. I should have sent it back but I was running on a few hours of sleep and just didn’t have the energy for waiting or arguing about it.

Within 20 minutes of finishing dinner, my stomach felt like a pot of water being boiled. Within an hour I was painting the stall brown at the movie theater across the road and missed a good chunk of my movie and all the fun activities that go along with date night…. Here I am on day 3 of food poisoning and still hating our choice to eat there.

I would give 0 stars if I could.

I am very disappointed in this visit. Me and my family of five went tonight and we were ready for a nice meal. We walk in the hostess didn’t great us very nicely no “hi guys welcome in” nothing. We got to our table and our server came, she never said her name and never greeted us again just like the hostess. We had to ask our server for extra chips multiple times. We also saw our server and another server talking and on their phones while we still needed our drinks and chips filled up. When my mom got her meal she was supposed to get fajita vegetables as one of her sides but it was just onions… My mom asked our server if they were supposed to be like that and she didn’t give an actual answer. This was a terrible experience and me and my family don’t plan on going back again for a long time.
