A Dry Experience at Dirty DawgsThere's a certain expectation when one visits a bar - to enjoy a night filled with fun, laughter, and a sense of camaraderie. Unfortunately, my recent visit to Dirty Dawgs was far from this picture, with the establishment falling short in an area that is fundamental to their business - hospitality.Firstly, it's important to note that this bar charges a heavy $20 cover fee for minors, a fact that left me with raised eyebrows. But what truly spoiled my experience was their policy of not providing free tap water. When I, the designated driver for the evening, asked for a glass of tap water, I was asked to pay $2. The justification? They don't 'make money on minors' - an explanation that seemed rather odd considering I wasn’t a minor and they already charge minors a cover fee.In a world where we are trying to promote responsible drinking and the critical role of designated drivers, Dirty Dawgs seems to be swimming against the current. Charging for tap water, a basic commodity, and especially to those ensuring the safe journey home for others, is simply not in good spirit. This isn't about the $2, it's about a principle, a principle of basic hospitality and respect towards patrons. At Dirty Dawgs, I felt this was sorely lacking.A bar is not just about the drinks it serves, but the atmosphere it fosters and the respect it shows to its patrons. Sadly, my experience at Dirty Dawgs left me thirsting for a more hospitable environment.

The service was great! The atmosphere was a little crowded, although that was mostly because of the college students. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who wanders into Aggieville!

Love going and dancing.
Michael Evans
It's a nice place for friends and dancing
Audie McMurtrey
They need to learn dance floor Etiquette

Watched the owner put a kid in a chokehold after kicking them out over a cover charge. Would not recommend an establishment with an owner who says he’s going to put a college kid “to sleep“

Nice bar and atmosphere. Wish they had a better music selection
$2 for water. Weird vibes man. Staff was efficient. Appreciate that. Not super friendly but I got what I needed.

Quite packed on weekend but this only enhances the vibe, staff and customers are chill.

Really fun place to dance. Always a great crowd. I’m giving two stars because of the management and bouncers. I have had multiple bad experiences with the bouncers thinking they are law enforcement. My friend got free drinks for a week because he was assaulted for dancing with a girl that a bouncer liked. The security needs a huge reality check.
