Sooo good! The fajitas are delicious. El Patron burrito, veggie chimi, the shrimp dishes.... it's all good. Large portions (one order easily feeds two people). Kids of all ages welcome. Nice outdoor patio on Poyntz, too.

Awesome place. Service was amazing from Samantha! On top of everything and super helpful. Food was very good, high quality all around. Ask for the hot salsa too, it's worth the extra heat! đ„”đ¶ïž

It was a great experience. Food was amazing and the waitress we had was very accommodating and helpful when I was deciding what to eat as there were certain things I needed to avoid food wise.
Dietary restrictions: I have to watch my carbs as I am pre diabetic.
Slot of food for the price

We (4) had dinner on Tuesday, February 25 all having different meals. (2 Manhattan Burrito, 1 Tacos, 1 chimichanga) The food was excellent & so was the service however we all started Wednesday February 26th with bad cases of DIARRHEA! Which lasted until early afternoon for all of us.
âThe only common food between us was chips & salsa, which we ate a lot of, so much so that the salsa bowls were refilled from a plastic container / pitcher that contained room temperature salsa.â
I called the restaurant to let the owner know about our conditions and was told the owner would call me. I called the second time 4 hrs later and was again told the owner would call me. After 2 more hours I received an email reply from the owner stressing that they conducted an investigation and that all of the procedures were followed correctly and blamed our condition on a stomach bug that was present in Manhattan.
None of us had symptoms of any illnesses, all of us had been in Manhattan for 2 weeks due to family emergency, all of us were residing in different hotels it wasnât a âStomach Bugâ it was something we ate at El PatrĂłn! I deserved at least a courtesy call to discuss the problem. I didnât make any demands for the $122 + $20 tip for excellent service.
I wonder how many others got sickâŠâŠ. Since numerous other customers received salsa from the same container ! Food & service was qualityâŠâŠ.. but if something makes you ill, âIt was a stomach bug.â

The atmosphere is awesome, it's vibrant, fun, and energetic. The service is even better. The food was good but the salsa was sub par in my opinion. It tastes very V-8ish. Almost tastes like ketchup.

We had a yen for Mexican and a local suggested two with high ratings. El Patron was chosen because of the name.... Did not disappoint, the house Lime Margarita was Great, and on Special !
The Elote Corn dip was Delicious and very close to Street Corn, which we hunt down and devour. Our Shredded Beef Taco had so much meat that my wife thought it needed more lettuce ( forget That ).
Loud with a full house on a Saturday night, we were told 20 minutes and the hostess delivered. Our Server was nice and patient.
Decent prices made the evening enjoyable.
