Used to Be Great — Now a Major Disappointment

I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but this place has gone severely downhill. If i can save one person from getting sick from eating this food my post has served its purpose.

This restaurant used to be one of our go-to spots, but the quality and management have completely changed for the worse. Being someone who has worked in food/food management previously its very evident it is a management problem especially if they are alright with the quality of food that was served today.

My wife (who is 37 weeks pregnant) picked up lunch for us- we ordered tacos. How hard is it to make tacos, right?... WRONG!

1. The meat was about 80% fat.

2. The cilantro was old and clearly shouldn’t have been served.

3. The queso was basically watered-down cheese.

4. I brought the food back in person, and instead of apologizing or making it right, the manager argued with me about giving a refund - and we still haven’t been refunded the tip for food we didn’t even eat.

5. Worst of all, they were comfortable serving this to a (37wk) pregnant woman.

It’s sad to see how far this place has fallen. A simple apology and some effort to make things right would have went a long way, instead I got push back over an obvious issue. We won’t be back unless management changes and the quality improves. There are plenty of other Mexican restaurants that actually care about their food and their customers. We will give them our business from now on.

The food here is delicious! My fav is the burrito gigante. The wait is almost non-existent unless you come when they are very busy. My family eats here at least twice a week.

Holy cannoli. I eat Mexican food once a week in KC. This is hands down the best place I've been to.

Good was great! They needed more jeep, we waited 15 minutes for water and am hour for our food. The atmosphere was great, just a little hard to talk because they were so busy

Friendly, fast service but food serving was very small and extremely salty. The burrito I had contained maybe 4 one-inch cubes of pork. Since the change in ownership, the quality has slipped sadly.

By far the best food I've had in a long time. The Jumbo mango margarita was absolutely delicious and slaps. And them chips and salsa from the go are fire! The 1 person chicken fajita was probably enough for like 3 people. 100% endorse this as I will absolutely be taking this back to make banging breakfast burritos in the morning. Look if yall don't eat here ya missing out!

The portions are huge here. We each ordered an entree but we could have easily ordered one for two people. The service was good, we had two kids and they brought cups with lids without even asking. We ordered the steak fries though and the steak was very chewy so I would just steer clear of that dish.
