Happy Valley is my favorite restaurant of all time. My friend and I spent the vast majority of our limited money in our youth eating there when they were still in Aggieville. Sometimes twice a day. As we got older (and tried to be more fiscally responsible), Happy Valley was always a place we celebrated life and soothed our sorrows. The Ma Po Tofu, Crab Rangoon, and hot and sour soup is my favorite meal in the world. While I miss the feel of the old location, the food is as good as ever at their newer location. If you are looking for authentic Chinese dishes made with care and consistency, check them out! I just want to say a huge thank you to the owners and chefs for bringing me so much joy and deliciousness over the last 15 or so years.

My wife and I have been on the search for some good fried rice, and Happy Valley does it right! The House fried rice has most everything in it and is our favorite. The egg rolls are some of the best we’ve had as well!

Clean restaurant, nice staff, great food. Only place I've been to in town that had a spicy dish that was actually spicy.

My favorite Chinese restaurant in town. Their crab rangoon can't be beat...

My wife and I always love getting dinner here. Their lo mein is superlative! I always order the Lo Mein and the Hot Pepper Chicken (chinese style) They are so delicious that I can't bring myself to order anything else!

One star for decent food and one star for decent service. The menu is expensive. Food DOES NOT come with rice. What Chinese restaurant doesn't have rice with their entrees? Meal (just the entree apparently) was $15. Had to pay an additional $3 for a measly side of PLAIN WHITE RICE. No way plain white rice should be $3, it should come with the meal!!! It's good food but you can go to any other Chinese restaurant in manhattan and get much more for your money!!! Don't recommend

I had a great experience here. Personally, I have no food allergies. My food was delicious and it was a big enough portion that I took home leftovers. I have friends that have gluten allergies and peanut allergies and all of them were able to eat with ease. I loved my experience at Happy Valley.

I wish i could leave 0 stars because my experience was undercooked food yesterday and the rice was nasty. The orange chicken was very undercooked. I went there with a friend and her rice and chicken made her throw up as soon as we left. We left all the food on the table and wasted money. And time. Also the "waitresses" don't understand English so they don't know what you're ordering and keep messing it up. Never going back and told all my friends about it.

The people were nice and they delivered for free but the food is not flavorful. I wouldn't order from here again. We had some Lo main noodles that were okay but the sweet and sour chicken was terrible .... the hot and sour soup terrible, the fried wontons .... not good. Just tasted bland and flavorless. Sorry
