We have been to Jamaica before and this place was exactly how we remembered the food there. We will definitely return. We had the grilled jerk chicken with rice and beans. It was excellent.

Its a lovely Mom and Pop style smaller restaurant with a decent bar and regular love music. They also do parties or catering when scheduled ahead of time. They food is great, its reasonably priced and with good portions. The drink options are very diverse and the rum punch is fantastic. The desserts are all home made and excellent but the better deal would be to get a whole cake if possible (I think its 100% worth it but you do need to call ahead for a whole cake).
The only downside is that its got a smaller parking lot so once its busy, it can be difficult to find a spot; but it is out near the damn so it makes sense and is not a deal breaker by any means.
A silly downside is that my favorite specials aren't available all the time! Feel free to call ahead or check out their Facebook for what specials are available on that day. However, the amazing taste of everything and the calm atmosphere makes it all worth it ten fold!

This place feels like a vacation all in itself! Such good energy from the staff and the decor! And sometimes it’s nice just to drive a little bit and get out of town and feel like you step into someplace else! Caribbean vibes all around! The food is fresh and delicious. We had the walleye and salads, and it was perfect perfectly cooked. we didn’t have cocktails, but we watched some fancy drinks being served to the other Tables and we heard that the rum punch is off the charts amazingly delicious! So good that people buy it by the gallon and take it home!! I have to say it was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon with the family. Absolutely family, friendly, and kids were having a great time. There was live music at the end of dinner. Great ambience, fantastic food, and all around a good time fantastic staff! And the prices For what you get our value for money for sure!

We tried several dishes and they were all amazing. I could make an entire meal out of the fried cornbread. And the desserts are amazing! Warm carrot cake that might be the most amazing dessert I’ve ever had! The Rum Punch is dangerously good. Will definitely be back for more. With and without the kids.
My food was pretty good but others at my table got pretty average at best food. The drinks were pretty good. The service was friendly… but we spent over 2hrs there, most of it waiting. We spent an hour waiting on food. Over 20min waiting for our cards back, the waiter helped others while our cards were gone. Many tables came and went while we were there.

Where do I start? We arrived in Manhattan later in the afternoon and after getting settled in our AirBNB we decided to venture out to get some dinner. We were about 2 miles from our AirBnb when we experienced a flat tire. After pulling over and changing the tire, we resumed our search for dinner. By the time we got back on the road, most places were closed (it was a Wednesday). We were about to pass The Little Grill when I remembered it was one of the places I had looked at to get dinner. We pulled into the parking lot and headed up to the front door, only to see that they closed at 9pm (it was now 8:59pm), we turned to go back to our truck when a woman sitting outside said "What's up?" We explained what happened and that we were looking for somewhere to get dinner. She stood up and said "Well come on inside, let me see what we can get for you" We followed her inside and learned that she was the owner of the restaurant! She went to speak with the cook to see what was available and after she told him what happened, he told her that he would cook anything that was on the menu that we would like to order. The food was delicious, the service was prompt and the customer service? TOP NOTCH!
