So far, I have yet to find a better cinnamon roll or pecan sticky bun. Fortunately, I live over 50 miles away or else I'd have a considerable cinnamon roll belly.
This place is amazing. I’m on the younger side so I’m biased, bc they’re food is sweet. But I’ve been coming here since I was six and there cinnamon bites are so underrated.P.S. I live in Texas and every time we come here we have to bring them back for the family.

Way overrated these days. Sometimes, they even close way early-before 5 p.m. even on a weekday without any explanation whatsoever. If you come by and it’s still even HOURS before closing time, they probably won’t have much of anything left (e.g. no cinnamon rolls or cherry rolls)-literally almost nothing. Some of the young kids who work there seem to have a lot of attitude as well. Even worse, they seem like they can’t bake at all where you buy a cookie that’s hard as a rock that you could break teeth on!Used to be way better-and consistently great-five or ten years ago…

Manhattan Native right here! Every time I come back to MHK, I ALWAYS have to swing by and grab a few to bring home! Mrs. Powell's NEVER disappoints but this time, it did....I love Mrs. Powell's with a passion and since I am from MHK, I always get one when I'm in town. I placed an order for pick up today for one regular cinnamon roll with EXTRA icing and I got one, frozen, cinnamon roll with NO icing. Unfortunately I am an hour away in Topeka and can't drive back there to get a new one...super disappointed that an employee did not get my order right AFTER I repeated it to her 5 times. What a waste of money for this

The best cinnamon rolls money can buy! The fruit rolls and pecan rolls are also favorites. They’ll even heat them up and offer extra frosting.Also a great and fast little much option if you’re downtown. I love their bierocks and they always have some good soup or side options on rotation.
