Posting this on behalf of my best friend, who recently got married, as she doesn’t have social media ❤️: “We had Nico's cater our wedding and they did an amazing job. We had a microwedding (around 20 guests) in Manhattan, and wanted to find something local that fit a smaller event. We met with them to ask questions about their catering menu and they were so helpful. They clearly outlined how much food came with each ordering option and even suggested how we could order off menu to get exactly what we were wanting. We had guests with allergies and they were very accommodating with the allergy info. Food was delivered on time, hot, and delicious. Everyone loved it!”
We love working with Nico's Little Italy for our Family Dinner-2-Go options! The food is always delicious, fresh, and consistently high quality. It’s been such a great partnership for our families, making mealtime easier while still feeling special and thoughtfully prepared. We truly appreciate the care and flavor Nico’s brings to every order! 🍝🍽️

Our first time on the Aggieville Strip and to visit Nico's. It was super close to the mall when we were searching somewhere close by to eat. It is a quaint take on authentic Italian cuisine. I have included some photos of the presentation. We ordered the 3 Cheese Manicotti, the Bruschetta, a Bellini, the Linguini Alfredo and the house special. The special today was a linguine base, with grilled shrimp, lemon, capers, and a light Alfredo. Delicioso! Our server was Alexander. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and checked on us regularly. The canolis for dessert were a great choice!

Food always knocks it out of the park. 10/10. Never had a bad meal here, and their dessert is amazing. The homemade tiramisu is unexplainable delicious. Jackson was our server most recently and he was above and beyond great! Super attentive and charismatic. Gave good recommendations and was funny when interacting with us. Always a good time at Nico’s!

Our waiter Caleb did an awesome job. He waited very patiently while our table of 10 decided what to get. He told us jokes, He watched us decide without being nosy, and even drew a smiley face with the oil and vinegar. The food was great too. Also this the restaurant was pretty quiet. 5 stars

Ok, We have been blessed in being able to travel the US and have have been to many great Italian Restaurants. Really wasn't expecting a great meal here, but was pleasantly surprised. All the food was fantastic. The Meatballs came recommended, so we ordered one as an Appetizer. 5⭐. It was so good that my wife changed what she was going to get, and got the spaghetti with another meatball. I ordered the Shrimp Fra Diavolo which was outstanding.
And the best part was the price: 5 entrees 2 glasses of wine was under $100+ the tip. Great food. Awesome value.

This is a cute little American style Italian eatery. The food was variable in quality, prices were probably higher for the area but okay. Portion sizes are fully adjustable 1/4, 1/2 and full which is fantastic. There are many easy misses that could be easily fixed for more authentic Italian cuisine and a slightly more upscale experience that the aspire to.
For the specifics-
1. The bread served was an okay fresh French style baguette rather than Italian bread or ciabatta. It is served with a heap of soft butter- ask and you will receive olive oil and balsamic vinegar to dip it in.
2. The Salmon piccata was great. Cooked ever so slightly beyond my preference but with a great tasting lemon caper sauce. Maines are served with a pasta (can sub for extra dollars). But I really wish the also came with a veggie or small side by default. Unless sharing if you order a side it’s just too much.
3. I ordered the simple linguine aglio olio which the server pronounced in American rather than Italian as she corrected my proper pronunciation. Oh well. It had a variable temperature which made it taste like it was blanched or precooked rather than fresh. It was a bit over cooked and soft rather than al dente. It would have benefited from more EVOO and real garlic. When I asked the server if there is garlic in the portion (couldn’t see any) I was assured that it’s prepared with garlic butter. Not quite my expectation. I ended up tolerating it in the piccata sauce from my main, otherwise I probably wouldn’t eat it- soft noodles in bland sauce.
4. From a quality perspective 2 major missed opportunities for flavor- the have bland black pepper flakes rather than freshly ground to serve. The Parmesan is cheap eatery powder rather than freshly grated to request.
5. Portions are Americanized- calamari thickly breaded, Alfredo sauces super thick in cream, garlic and evoo deficient recipes, too much butter and the carbonara has no connection to the Italian meal.
6. Servers were nice, but as Americans came to remove my plates while I still had a bite in my mouth and was wiping my bowl with bread- had to request (mouth full) that they leave it. As I was chewing I was asked if I was ready for a check. I would be hard pressed if an Italian owns this place- if they do they are either uninvolved or have not been raised on Italian standards.
The place was packed very early on a Friday evening and seems like a local crowd pleaser. I think for this small Kansas town it’s a safer bet for an easy meal. My kids would have enjoyed it I’m sure.

Food was fantastic
I got the Pink Vodka Penne (at the recommendation of my waitress), Chicken Parm, and the Garlic Bread all of them were amazing.
Service was great, had multiple people approach my table. My waitress Shelby (hopefully spelled right) made a great recommendation, was very personable, and attentive.
The price point for the food and service was also amazing!
10/10 Recommend if you're in the area

What an amazing restaurant! My husband and I visited from out of town for our anniversary, and the steak with creamy marsala blew me out of the water. Our server, Sloan was exceptional and made it an unforgettable experience. The restaurant can be a little loud at times if it’s busy, but I definitely recommend Nico’s and will be coming back!!

Everytime we go, I'm always happy we came. The food is great, highly reccomend the creamy pesto. Ask your server what their favorite is, it's a great place to try more dishes. The drinks are well made, so is the dessert. Favorite place to eat in for Riley area.
