Had pizza at Old Chicago before the game on Tuesday. Best pizza I have ever had! I am from LEAWOOD KS and have 2 very favorite Pizza restaurants in the KC area. Old Chicago in Manhattan beats them all

I called 40 minutes before closing to be sure if I placed an order it would not inconvenience them and was assured it wouldn't. My Italian nachos came with literally like 10 pieces of tiny chicken and were not edible. Waste of money and tip even though picked up as a to go order.

Ordered ahead. Order chicken Parm, pizza rolls, and wings.
Wings: there was only 5 wings for $11, absolutely unacceptable, chicken was dry, didn't taste fresh.

Chicken Parm: chicken was delicious, noodles were watery and the sauce had very little flavor

Rolls: these were good

The foods fine. The drinks are fine. Most of the employees are fine.

However, during our visit there was a man who was pretty intoxicated, minding his own business. An older lady who I can only assume was a regular due to the way she spoke to the employees, and they to her, began badgering the man loudly, that he should stop, he should leave, loudly calling out for someone to bring him water. Despite the fact he clearly and water and was drinking it.

The man explained his wife had recently passed and he was just trying to deal with it. The woman laughed and mocked him.

Now of course this isn't on the business or the employees. However, during all this the employees laughing and mocking him on their own. They invited the older woman to come to the bar and began gossiping about him. Once he departed they all gathered, laughing and making jokes. During this time I request a box and the check 3 times, each time the employee would turn around and start gossiping again. It took nearly an hour just to pay the check.

Truthfully the bartender seemed drunk, as she was serving drinks to customers who were falling asleep at the bar.

I probably won't come back, which is a shame because I like their food. But I can't imagine supporting a business where the employees openly and loudly mock a customer they over served (The bartender said he looked drunk when he sat down) in front of the manager and nothing happens.

The waiter was super efficient with his and our time. I have nothing bad to say

Disappointing Service and Unprofessional Behavior

Last night, I had a truly unpleasant dining experience here. Despite the initial inconvenience of being seated at an undesirable table, I was willing to overlook it. However, the subsequent events were entirely unacceptable.

After expressing my disappointment to the manager about the host's misleading information, I was shocked to be verbally abused by the same host at my workplace. This level of unprofessionalism and disrespect is completely unacceptable.

I urge management to address this issue promptly and take appropriate action. Such behavior tarnishes the reputation of the establishment and creates a hostile environment for both customers and staff.

Food was disgustingly greasy, bland, and low quality. I had to throw it out after one bite of the spaghetti & meatballs and the Italian nachos.

Fresh food was soggy, which contradicts its fresh. Random people kept going with servers into the beer room which was odd. The building didn’t smell good
