Angela Gardena seems like a class individual
I believe that Meadowlark is a good facility. But one employee that works there will leave a sour taste in your mouth! Anne Peace is probably the rudest, most hateful, untrustworthy individual they could have hired/employ. Due to my interactions with her I have had to turn in numerous complaints about her hatefulness towards residents and their families. It honestly scares me that someone with those kind of mental issues to be so rude to elderly can work at Meadowlark. Very sad that someone who is so upset with them self is allowed to work at place where they allow her to take her anger out on the residents, families, and fellow co-workers! So sad!
Horrible place!!! I’d never take a loved one here!
I worked at meadowlark for over a year and recently had to move back to my hometown. I just wanted to say that I enjoyed my time at meadowlark, and am proud to say that I used to work for them. I wish I could’ve picked up the facility and moved it all with me. No other facility can compete with the amount of attention and level of care that these residents receive. The households help it feel more like a home, and the staff is always kind and treat the residents with respect, and like they’re family. I work with a nurse at my new job who worked at meadowlark when he was in nursing school, and we’ve had so many good stories to share with each other and talk about how good of a facility meadowlark is. I miss so many staff members and residents dearly. I applaud you, meadowlark!!!
I know somebody that was transported by meadowlark and had been in their care for 24 hours. All of a sudden their condition dropped. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody!
My parents moved into Meadowlark this last summer. The staff have been very supportive and helpful. My parents love living here. I am so impressed with the therapy that my Dad has received for his Parkinson’s. He is doing more than I ever thought possible. My parents were so isolated in their previous home. Here at Meadowlark they are socializing so much more. What a blessing Meadowlark has been for my parents. Thank you for such a wonderful facility in Manhattan.
Had an excellent informational meeting with Abby Cavender.
She answered questions thoroughly and respectfully.

Excellent staff, efficient, caring
My loved ones have been in this longterm care for many years and I will never move them. Compassionate care for the whole life (mind, body, soul).

All nurses and therapy employees I had the privilege of working with during my home health needs were very professional and I felt they all had my needs as their first priority when they were at my home.
I can't think of a better retirement community than Meadowlark Hills. I've had family members and friends live up here that were treated with respect, dignity, and compassion. There is an endless amount of activities and opportunities to be engaged with each other and members of the community. I'm decades away from living in a place such as this, but when it comes time this will be at the top of my list.
Had a friends family member who lived there.. who ended up with horrible bed sores to the bone.. Thus place needs reported to the state..
Great people that really care about us.
Not a great work environment
