Our table was ready when we arrived. Everyone was polite, professiinal and delightful. The menu offered a great mix of options that had everyone choosing different, unique meals. The beer was amazing as well, and they offered samples of their selections to help you make a choice. Will definitely be back.

Great for large groups. We had a few more than expected, and they were very accommodating. The service was exceptional. Food came out quickly. Our server was very attentive. Waters were always filled, overall a great experience.

We had a great birthday celebration yesterday and the service was awesome. It was a bit noisy with the Kstate fans cheering but still made for a great atmosphere.

I spent almost $30 (including tip) on the Spicy Shrimp Curry which was absolutely terrible. I'm used to paying for overpriced things since I live on the West Coast and also lived in NYC for 5 years. However, I'm quite surprised that a pub in Manhattan KANSAS charges prices like this!
I'm happy to pay $30 for a single entree if it tastes good, however, that was not the case with this Spicy Shrimp Curry. When this dish came out it looked awful: a bowl with nothing but brown/green sauce all over. There were two sad little mini pieces of naan (actually it was just one mini piece of naan cut in half) on the side. Not wanting to judge the dish on its miserable appearance - I dug in to give it a taste. Unfortunately, the taste was as bad as it looked. Nothing but heat with no other flavors. I dug around and found a few pathetically small pieces of shrimp and rice hiding underneath what felt like a gallon of this gross brown/green hot sauce. I ate the few shrimp I could find and then was done with it.
I'm not a curry expert but in the past I've had South Indian style curry as well as North Indian style curry. I've also had Jamaican style curry. So I've had DECENT curry before and can tell you this dish IS NOT IT.
My suggestion to the chef is to remove this dish from your menu and stick with the pub basics: hamburgers, fish and chips, etc.

Best sweet potato fries ever The burger was delicious.I could have used a bolder barbecue flavor on my sandwich. The iced tea is nice and smooth. I am not a beer person, so I have no direct opinion there. I hear that the Ragnarok Brew is good
Tallgrass Tap House is a fantastic spot on Poyntz to stop in and grab a bite to eat. Often busy, and for good reason, expect a wait that will be worth it.
They offer a wide variety of local beer options, including some of their own. The staff has always been very helpful with some suggestions for some of the best ones.
I think you will honestly be hard pressed to find better wings in town than the Korean Fried Chicken Wings here. They are, in my opinion, as good as wings can get. I always recommend them, along with the Jalapeno Popper Crab Rangoon, can't go wrong with either.
