We had dinner there tonight and the food was fantastic, not as heavy or greasy as Mexican restaurants can sometimes be. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is inside of an Eagles club so it's not super fancy, but the food and prices were worth going back for. We will definitely be back.

Every bite of my meal was absolutely delicious! I'm only in town for two days, but I'm coming back for lunch tomorrow!

The most authentic Mexican food I have eaten in Kansas, I hope this place flourishes, I have recommended it to many friends, fresh and delicious, plus a salsa bar, day and night difference to all other places this is unadulterated quality food, so happy I found this place.

Legit mexican food in the heart of Kansas. Order at the counter, they bring the food to you. Great salsa bar with various salsa, pickled onions, carrots, cilantro and peppers. They can sign you in as a guest at the lodge within the building for cheap beers. Super impressed, must do for

I rate this Taqueria !t 5 stars because it fits - it is not fancy or exceedingly comfortable, abs if it were, it would be out of place. The food is deliciously seasoned and stands in contrast with most Mexican food in Manhattan. The portion sizes are spirited large considering the costs of each item; a very good value.Good atmosphere, good prices, age great food make this a winner every time...

Good food, I had no idea there were there, we never have found food south of Poyntz Ave. They share the building with the Eagles club. Not much on atmosphere, it's in the bingo hall. Plain tables and not much to decorate, but they make up for it with fast fish to table time and really tasty food. It's hard to complete in Manhattan nowadays - every corner seems to have a taco truck or trailer. They polish their skills then rent or buy a building and sell the trailer to the next group. Fish and shrimp plate was good, but for 14 bucks could have had a bit larger shrimp and ones without freezer burn showing plainly on the tails. Wasn't bad enough to taste off yet. But still they could have fresh shrimp not frozen. One of my compadres had the cabeza torta, me I'd go for the lengua. But it looked good, next time I'll get the torta myself.

I was staying at the Fairfield Inn and this place is right off the end of the building...a 1 minute walk. I wanted to get some food on a Friday night. I was a little confused at first because the sign in the window was for the restaurant but the sign over the door was for the Eagles club. When I looked in I saw at least 40 people playing bingo. I was in the right place. They were very busy with all the bingo players and take out orders. I ordered and took a Mexican Coca-Cola to a table and watched some of the bingo action…saw someone win $1,000. I also got to talk to the owner…very nice. In the end I got some good authentic tocos and burritos and took them back to my hotel. Would eat the again, especially if staying at one of the close by hotels.
