Fun atmosphere for a night out during the holidays. Enjoyed the crafted cocktails and the burger. Staff was friendly!!!

Stopped in around 6pm on a Saturday for dinner. There was about a 5 minute wait to get seated. Really cool restaraunt that was decked out for the season. Service was friendly and attentive. My wife had one of the holiday drinks and loved it. I had a draft beer and we each had a slice of pizza that was very good. Great spot to grab a drink, eat a meal or both!

We came in for the Miracle on Moro, and the restaurant looked amazing, perfect holiday atmosphere. Just be aware that there isn’t much space to wait for a table, and with how popular this place is, you may end up waiting shoulder-to-shoulder. The kitchen is right by the entrance, so it’s hard not to feel like you’re in the way of the staff. Some were understanding, but others made it pretty clear they weren’t happy about people waiting in their path, which wasn’t a great feeling.
We ordered drinks through the host and didn’t receive them until about 30 minutes later. I understand they were busy, but that’s a long time to wait for drinks, especially since they are so expensive too! Our server was very friendly, but also very slow, getting a soda refill took over 20 minutes. Overall, it seemed like the whole team was overwhelmed.
The food itself was good, but just a headsup, sides do not come with the burgers or chicken sandwiches. Our bill ended up being $14 instead of $9 because fries were added as a separate item. The menu technically doesn’t say sides are included, but in 2025 it feels like the standard, especially when the server asks what side you want. Definitely a surprise on the bill.

Best burger I had on the road trip. Specialty pizza can be ordered by the slice. Staff were friendly, food came fast, and the place has a cool old school vibe.
Cannot recommend the Royal with Cheese enough. When I come back, I will be getting 5 of those burgers just for myself because it was such a perfectly balanced burger.

The atmosphere truly puts you in the Christmas spirit, and the friendly waitress made our visit even more enjoyable with her great conversation. We can’t wait to come back next year!

Hi Lo is one of my favorite places in Manhattan.
The atmosphere has a good laid back vibe for dinner or some drinks later in the night.
The staff is always helpful and does well to keep up with you and ensures everything is going well.
While many will tell you about how good the pizza and goat sticks are (And I agree!), I will say Hi Lo has my favorite burger in Manhattan. It is just a well crafted, juicy burger with perfectly crispy fries. I cannot recommend it enough.
Their rotating cocktail menu is also delightful and has a good variety for whatever the season is.
To me, I hope Hi Lo remains a staple in Aggieville as it is just a delightful spot with quality food and service.
Hi Lo is a hidden gem in Manhattan, Kansas. You may walk past it if you judge it by how it looks from outside, but come in and you won’t regret it. The atmosphere is amazing, with quirky but beautiful decorations. The staff are very friendly and quick, the food is delicious (I recommend the cheese bricks specifically), and the atmosphere is amazing. Thank you Hi Lo for an amazing time!
