Nuthin’ Fancy is somethin’!! I picked up a mixed dozen this morning to bring to my husband and first off the bakery is CUTE! I love the aesthetics of the place 💕 when I walked in I was greeted with a smile 😊 and I loved how the gals made me feel when I walked it, it was like I had been there before. I love Nuthin Fancy. We live in California and spend a couple of months a year in Jewell County. They are better than any pastry shop I know in my hometown of Long Beach CA and we have plenty of them. Can't recommend them enough.

Nuthin Fancy Bakery is considered the best bakery in North Central Kansas. It is a cute shop with a nice ambiance, described as a high-end bakery in a small rural town. Customers are overwhelmed by the delicious aroma and the huge, beautiful selection of hand-crafted pastries. This includes every kind of donut you could want, wonderful pies, and incredible twists. Specific favorites include everything blueberry, such as blueberry lemon bread and blueberry-filled donuts. Fridays are especially noted for donuts. The bakery also offers a spectacular gluten-free option. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the location is convenient, and the shop is very clean. The pricing is more than fair. It has quickly become a local staple and a must-stop in Mankato, with many stating you will not leave empty-handed.
