Cannot visit Marion without loading up on CB Baked Goods. My family loves the pizza bolsos and sticky buns! They freeze perfectly so we can enjoy them year round. The owner even provides a thermal bag so they stay cool for the commute home!

I wish I could tell you the name of the owner, because we met her each morning as she was baking her goods! She was such a warm and friendly owner and gave us as much info as we wanted to hear, regarding her baked goods and the historic building that she works in and her family lives in! She was working on that day's Bierocks, but we needed something that was ready to go! So she has plenty of Bierocks that are refrigerated from the previous day (four different kinds!) and after microwaving them in the hotel for 30 seconds, they were perfect! We also bough a tray of cinnamon rolls that were delicious; it was our go-to place each morning, as we were staying at the Historic Elgin Hotel! Do NOT miss this place if you are staying in Marion or Hillsboro!

Was visiting the area and hunting for bierocks and found this cute, little bakery with the friendliest owner yesterday. They did not disappoint and dare I say that they are the best bierocks I’ve ever had! Purchased some frozen and they traveled well back to Missouri. I plan to ration them until I can get back to Marion for more!
