Darling little restaurant!! Delicious carnitas, chorizo, hot sauce, and horchata! They have crunchy and soft tacos - the crunch are more American style with lettuce and cheese and soft are made with cilantro- both were delicious! They have fresh pupusas and chilaquiles - I can’t wait to come back and try the breakfast options. The owner even went out of her way to make a veggie platter option other potatoes and beans. The inside is small but cute. They offer delivery and take out too!

A hidden gem in Merriam, Anita's is a great low key Salvadoran restaurant. Try the papusas, breakfast torta, or tamales. The only thing fancy here besides the food is Anita's big heart. Breakfast and lunch only.
I really enjoyed my agua de tamarindo, beans, rice, chicken street taco and tamale (which was especially good). However...the green sauce made everything just that much better! To top it off, the man who took my order was super friendly and easy to talk to. Will be going back for a Papusa soon!

Anita's has fabulous pork tamales, flavorful, tender with just the right amount of masa. Their breakfast burritos are delicious, filling and reasonably priced. This is a small, family run business who are friendly to customers and obviously care about the food they serve. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed!
I don't understand how this place has 4.7 star, I ordered some gorditas with meat al pastor to take away and the meat was raw!!

I hate that I forgot to take pictures , but they have Amazing fresh breakfast! We loved the burritos and pupsas! This family own business is very sweet and so humble! Hands down my ONLY recommendation for breakfast! NOT to mention , THE BEST HOMEMADE SALSA !! They even gave me some to go !!

This place is amazing! Aside from the amazing food, Anita and her family are so very nice, the service is amazing, and they always make food so quickly. The prices are very affordable as well.
The food is unbelievable. I usually get burritos (breakfast in the morning, chicken for lunch), with a side of rice. My wife loves the tamales. I need to try the rest of the menu but the burritos are so good I can’t help it.
Give Anita’s a try! They deserve your business more than any chain spot.
