They told me I couldn't have cookies and cream because it was too hard to scoop and when asked what black walnut was she responded "can't you read it" but it was described as 'black walnut ice cream'.

We bought 2 Sugar-free Blooper box's.
1 for my wife that has Gestational diabetes.
1 for my coworker that has type 2 diabetes.
I let my wife grab any favor ice-cream to eat a few bites (strawberry cheese cake)?

Kid-friendliness: It's a candy store with ice-cream & caramel apples. What's more to say ??‍♂️

I have gone to this store often since it opened. Giving Russell Stover chocolates for gifts for family, friends and business. I even buy valentines chocolates for the entire staff at the huge beach resort I spend winters at on south padre island.However, the quality of the employees at the Merriam locarion has got worse over time. To the point I was so mad day before easter that I may not go there anymore. Gruff older lady was just plain rude and nasty. Not the one with limp, the other one.She was just horrible every time I asked her anything. Refused to give me a sample of a single candy on clearance even from Christmas!! Not like I was asking for her to open a bag or box or an expensive piece from in counter!Only a few samples stocked in basket either and just 2 kinds.I had already asked the other lady what my credit points thing was and was at 250. So I then asked her to remind me about what the process was on that. She just bluntly said "nothing". Just nothing! So many stores have so many programs for how much you spend etc, it is hard to remember what is at each place. Other employees will even sometimes let you know after checking out. Even like last time there before on valentines that I thought she said I was close, like just another 50.00.Anyway. She just treated me like I was just very much unwelcome since I dared to ask for some service! This lady is just so below what I would ever let work with my customers. She is more like somebody that needs to work night shift at a Motel 6 or neighborhood hole in the wall bar with her crude personality and lack of common manners. I know hiring is hard now, but this lady is beyond scraping the bottom of the barrel and not worth the customers she is losing this location. Do better.
