I have been a loyal "Strips" conissieur since Todd opened his doors in Olathe. I've been to every other location, but tonight, I decided to try the newest one in Lenexa. Atmosphere was wonderful. Nintendo units at every booth was a hit with my daughter; and to me too(some of the games were from my childhood). The outside deck that wraps around the east side of the building is inviting. Love the lighting.
Our wait time was what I expected for the meals we ordered. Service was excellent. Todd was there tonight and checked on us while we were waiting. We talked about a possible family connection from his past and my husband's and quickly turned to the topic of his new "star" of the show that he was debuting tomorrow night.....GLUTEN FREE FRIED ZUCCHINI!
Say what?!!!! He went back into the kitchen and cooked us up a batch for a private tasting. Wowza! So good! You cannot find this anywhere else....you will always see fried okra; of which I can never have. But THIS.......this is gluten free and it's zucchini!
I thanked him for bringing gluten free to the forefront of eating out.
This fried chicken ya'll is THE BOMB!
SERIOUSLY! Even if you do not need to eat GF, you need to try this and soon!

Was craving a pork tenderloin from Strip's Chicken & Brewing - Lenexa . Seriously delicious tenderloin and everything is so fresh. One of the best tenderloins you'll ever have. If you haven't stopped in to see how incredible the restaurant renovation is on Santa Fe down in old town Lenexa, it's quite a transformation. Treats ordered for supper this evening: pork tenderloin as mentioned, white chicken chili, mac.and cheese bowl with chicken strips, GF chicken nuggets and fries.
Oh and pro tip, get a bowl of white chicken chili, mix in some of those extra crispy GF fries and have a crazy good side treat with your order 😉

Disappointed compared to the Olathe location. Service could have been better, hair in my food, cold fries…. I was excited for my family to try Strips and now they most likely won’t come back. I’ll get them out to the Olathe location. This one may need to focus on the beer and have less food options or something. ?♀️

I was in the mood for chicken tenders with Buffalo sauce and this was the place was near me. Very little parking, but cute atmosphere. I walked in very close to open. The bartender was very attentive but the food took a bit longer than expected maybe 20 minutes due to one of the fryers not being operable. The tenders were on the smaller side, which was a bit disappointing, but the fries were delicious!
Parking: I actually had to park in the salon's reserved parking spot. Thought it would be less than 15 minutes turned out to be closer to 30 by the time it was all said and done
Delightful experience. The pork tenderloin is perfectly seasoned and not greasy. What more can you ask? The Amber Ale was delicious as well. Will visit again.

Great food and portions. The sauces we tried were really good to go with the chicken. The contract brews were pretty good too nice to see local breweries collaborating with them to have unique beer on the menu.
