I had hummus for me and a friend to go and asked if they had chili sauce and was told yes then had to return because they did not actually include that. The pita for two separate orders were put in one container so that was inconvenient because I had to separate them myself. The oil tasted very old and chemical like cheap cooking oil not like olive at all. The hummus was very nutty but pretty one dimensional and not worth repeating.it almost taste like peanut butter. There was far too little acid, salt and too much tahini. It was flat oily and unnappitizing over all.

Came in today just on a whim. I've had Mediterranean but it's not my go-to so I thought to mix it up and this was in the area. I was pleasantly surprised by the food.I started with a cup of Lentil soup. It was flavorful and subtle at the same time. I would definitely order a bowl next time.Following up, I ordered a gyro with a side of basmati. The gyro overall was good, but the taste of their sauce was a little too subtle than what I've had in the past. I also can't be too sure, but the cut of the lamb didn't seem fresh off the wheel like I've had before. It was good, but I did ask for a small side of tzatziki and tahini for extra pop. Basmati was good as well but I ended up using some of the tahini on that as well for some added flavor.I ended the meal with their assorted dessert plate to sample everything they had. The Ballourie (the thing that looks like a pair of Twix) was my favorite overall. Followed by the Burma Pistachio, which kind of tasted like sunflower seeds wrapped in shredded wheats, covered in honey; oddly delicious. The least, but still good, was the Baklava, which was a little too crunchy and not as tasty as the others. I'd order the assortment again, but I'd say one plate is good for one person, rather than to be shared. Now I will comment that even though the crew was nice, they were also not always present. I believe they must have been running a skeleton crew because the front person was also running to the kitchen to cook. That being said, this is definitely one of those places that feels more like an "order at the counter and eat at the table" sort of spot, rather than a full service. All the same, kind staff and was attentive with water and bussing when in eyesight. If I'm in the area, I'll definitely stop in again. Happy and well fed ?

We loved it! The hummus was amazing, and I would order that every time I go from now on! I had the lamb biryani, which was amazing and perfectly seasoned. We also had the falafel, lamb shawarma, and the chicken kabobs. We will be back to try other items on the menu and soon! Ohh and how can I forget the baklava, it was perfect not loaded with syrup like some others I have had in the past.

We like mediterranean/greek food and thought we'd try this place out. We ordered and got it to go. When we got home, the food looked good, but that was it. The vegetables in my Chicken Schwarma were almost raw, the chicken was practically burnt, the pita bread was stale or just really hard. Very disappointing as the atmosphere of the place seemed quite charming. Won't be going back there. We'll stick with Mr. Gyros and Tassos.

Had been here for quite a few months now, the food was amazing but their SERVICE sucks!!!! we have been waiting for someone to get our order and been waiting for over 20 minutes, unbelievable?. Not friendly and welcoming just delivering food. Only good suggestion is to “Take good care of your customers “ if you want your business to grow?

Deliocus, authentic Mediterranean food. I've been looking for a place like this for a while. So happy to have found it! Every bite was a flavor explosion and so fresh! Left me satisfied and with leftovers too. Amazing ?

Good place for lunch and the food is excellent. No other staff than the owner who does it all...at least when we were there.

I used to eat at Kinzi very often, multiple times a week. Last few times I have noticed that food quality and taste has dropped significantly. They stopped using basmati rice in biryani. The lentil soup taste like vegetable curry cooked in lentils. I think the current chef has indian style of cooking- everything is spicier than it used to be. Hummus, it was really bad in taste, lacked salt and ithink the chef forgot to put the lemon. This place is very close to my house and I am so diasppointed that now I wont have good mediterranean food on the go for pick up.

Delicious! They were out of Falafal, so substituted Spanikopita. Everything was great.

The owner of place was friendly and welcoming. I liked my gyro, but, the lentil soup could have been better. My friends enjoyed their food choices too. The setup of the place is ideal.

I was craving a Gyro, and this place came up. I didn’t think much of it at first, but I was compelled to leave a review.First off: I was kind of in a hurry, but had time to sit down and enjoy something, and was in and out in about 15 minutes. While the staff might not have the greatest grasp of conversational English, I was VERY well taken care of, and left a very happy guy.I had a lamb Gyro, which was perfectly seasoned and superbly cooked, and the portion size was on point for the price. It was crispy enough to have a nice crunch, but juicy, tender and bursting with flavor. The hummus was a hit too, along with their fresh pita. I had to ask for more pita, and got it complimentary. It was the perfect balance of price and portion so much, I got to take half home for lunch tomorrow. I’m very happy to have found this place because it seems sort of hidden amongst the other shops along Johnson Drive, but next time I’m in the area, this will be my go-to.Kid-friendliness: Kinzi made me a happy boy.
