What’s the deal with the boxes here? Went in yesterday morning (July 5, 2025) and the customer service tanked as soon as I said I preferred a box for the 6 donuts I planned to get. Mind you, I was getting 3 larger donuts (cinnamon roll, Long John, and apple fritter among others) so I don’t even know how they would fit in a bag. The employee seemed so disgruntled about using a box I told her if she wanted to use a couple bags she could. The response: “Well, the box is already deformed now, so….😒”. Are the boxes coming out of their paychecks?! Also, $30 for the 6 donuts! I about just told her to put them back. It didn’t feel good paying that price for that kind of service. I’ll be going back to my usual donut/ice cream shop next time. Lesson learned.
Came for the joe-to-go box of coffee but they didn't have any boxes!
Went and the donuts weren’t that good. They needed more flavor to it and the price is high for a donut that hasn’t have a lot of flavor. And secondly the worker looked very lazy, she was talking on her cellphone infront of customers. Doesn’t greet you just say what ya want like how rude show some respect . It was on July 4th at 7;45am and the lady was black with braids
They were out of most of our favorite donuts. And the donuts we did get were not good. I've been eating Lamar's donuts since Lamar was making them in the original shop. He would not be proud of this place. Also, they had no coffee. Not what you expect from Lamar's.
Ordered 2 cream filled doughnuts and 2 cream filled long John’s and dozen doughnuts and she said $50.42 and I said what did you say and she repeated it and I said I I will take the cream filled doughnuts but was not going to pay $30 for a dozen doughnuts. That is just terrible pricing, I will never return.
Service Great!Donuts Great! The lady working works hard to get ppl through, but there is no place to sit and wait.
Can be a little pricey.
Best donuts I've ever had. They always taste fresh no matter if you get some early morning or hours after they've been open
Donuts were ok, service and atmosphere of the store was awful. We came in a few minutes before they closed to grab a few donuts and the entire place REEKED of bleach. Nobody greeted us, both the women were on FaceTime with someone who they had propped up on the counter. Sounded like they were complaining when we came in because they were closing in 5 minutes. When my partner asked for coffee the woman behind the counter said nothing and then the young woman behind her had an attitude and said “we’re done making coffee!” to which the woman behind the counter responded by laughing and was like “I wasn’t going to go there” …We assumed they’d have some made already, it’s not a big deal they didn’t have any, but her attitude was pretty off putting. It seemed like they were trying to leave promptly at noon, hence why they apparently started cleaning the entire shop with bleach well before closing time, which was incredibly nauseating.
Extremely overpriced and rude.
Fluffy Fresh down the street is worth waking up early for and waiting in line! Never will be coming here again.
Good donuts. Honestly worst service of my life. Won’t be coming back to any of the Lamar’s. There are plenty of other donut places.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. This is a small store, there were two ladies working and neither greeted us or appeared they were going to serve us. The one standing right in front of us was busy on her phone with social media. I politely gave our food and drink order thinking maybe she would respond or at least acknowledge us- nope. It was midmorning on a Sunday, no coffee was made. The second young woman started making coffee at one point, so we did get a few donuts and coffee eventually. We politely thanked them when we left with our items- no "you're welcome" or even acknowledgement. I can honestly say I've never seen anything like it.

I've been in twice now, and I'm done. First off the lady behind the counter is far from friendly. BOTH times I've been in there now I have felt rushed when it came to picking out the couple of donuts I bought. (There was no line mind you so I was not holding up anyone) the first time I paid damn near 20 bucks for three donuts! Insane! The second time I went in asking for a specific donut, she insisted it was called a different name so I trusted her word. Turned out I showed up with the wrong kind of donut thanks to her rushing me. I won't be back, the girl there shouldn't be working any type of customer service job. She's one of those people who acts like she would rather be somehwere else and it's your fault that she has to be there. No thanks. Donuts aren't worth it.

I'm so disappointed. Lamar's is our go to for donuts. So today's being my son's birthday we drove over before school. Closed! No sign and no sign of having sold out at 7:30 in the morning. I'm hoping today is just a fluke but I am very disappointed.
